At this time of the year we are blessed with the migratory return of the sea geese (Black Brant) returning from California to rest on our beaches and feed on sea grass etc.. Then in stages they will arrive in their summer home of Alaska. For us on the Strait of Georgia this are like spring daffodils and we have a festival month with celebrations.
