Boatless Adventures

We had a great week with our C-Brat friends :thup On Monday we met with Captain Jim and Joan (Wild Blue) when they came over on their Scoots. Lunch at the Olive Garden, sharing adventures.

Wednesday we were just back across the border at Blaine and I reminded Ruthie to turn the :phone back on. Within thirty seconds it rang. It's Roger, skipper of the Sensei. Roger says, "Hey, Ruthie, Let's have lunch, Beth and I are in town" .... Have to tell you that the waitress waiting on us got a really good workout grinding cheese on our soups and salads.

It was a nice sunny Friday afternoon, when all of a sudden there was the sound of a low flying aircraft. Out the door I went with Ruthie right behind me. Oh, Man! That is one beautiful airplane. Tom Elliott, Sr. with the Dragon. He made three circles around our place and hit the smoke on the last one. Those are some great people.

We are so fortunate to have so many terrific friends.

You're home! So happy to see your photos. Now we can finish writing about our Friday adventure. Looks like you made excellent time.

Will download our photos ASAP. We were standing on the dock next to the big Crowley tug as you went shooting down the Guemes Channel. Your boat looked terrific :thup :thup

Bill, Our deepest thanks for sharing your Nordic tug adventure with us. It was so much fun taking the photos. Didn't know if I could capture one of you in the Guemes Channel as you were moving along at a fast clip and my focus was out a bit.

More photos in the latest R-Matey album.
