Gary Kramer won an award from Boating Writing International at the Miami Boat Show for his cover article in the August issue of BoatUS titled Space Odyssey. This is a tale of living aboard a C-Dory 22. Those who know us, or others considering a live aboard lifestyle, might enjoy reading his article if they didn't see it last August. Congrats to Gary for the award!

Hi El & Bill,

Enjoyed reading the article & viewing the photos again. Gary is a good writer, but in my mind the subject matter wins the award & his good taste for it.

Jo-Lee & I are at this moment slow cruising down the Lynn Canal her reading a good book & me writing this while the boat is on auto pilot. Ya I knew you wouldn't approve :lol: Sure is a perfect setting to reread about your life traveling choices & simplicity. While reading saw you didn't use ice on your travels & had to laugh cause we too had made that same decision when considering this three month extended cruise. Sure is good thinking about you too and all your wonderful adventures while we are off on another of ours.
