Greetings -
After several years of using the motor to climb out of the water, it is time for a boarding ladder. The requirements are permanent transom mount, small enough to fit the 16 without motor interference, sturdy enough for scuba use, and extensible to maybe an additional two feet below transom.
Oh, less than expensive would be good too. Can anyone suggest candidates for this position?

Thanks!

Here's the factory's answer to your question. However, by any measure it does not meet your 'less than expensive' criteria. (I think they should have somekind of sliding scale for us 16 footer people).

Here's the Les Lampman (EQ harbor Services on Whidbey Island), version on a 22. I think it would fit on a 16.

I opted for the factory option: Garelick swim step. It just fits :)

I have the Garelick 2 step ladder like in the Lizzy picture. I had to change it out for a 3 step after the surgery. I'm too old and fat to use the 2 step. I just don't have the swim platform. I would think it could be made. Send me an IM if your interested in the 2 step. If you go factory and buy the swim step with the ladder I would suggest the 3 step.
