Not to worry. First off, the Honda 75 and 90 are the exact same size. They are actually the same engine, with some tuning refinements to the 90 to get the extra hp.
Secondly, be thankful that your boat is coming to you with the kicker bracket already on. With the kicker hanging right on the transom, it will drag the lowest few inches of it in the water when cruising with the kicker tipped full up. A lot of folks have added brackets just to get away from that. It has to do with the angle of the transom. You just can't keep it all out of the water, and it is not good to to have it dragging, kicking up splash, and perhaps spinning the prop. Plus, with the bracket, you will have no clearance problems with trim tabs. If you aren't getting them installed new, you will more than likely put them on later.
You shouldn't have much more trouble connecting the steering linkage to your kicker with it on the bracket, because the net effect of the bracket will be to have the motor mount hanging closer to vertical and it won't be that much farther away from you.
The 90 is a good choice, and everyone who has them is happy with it. The only immediate problem with the mounting change is that you may have to redraw the picture that Caty posted in your album to show the bracket.
Now quit worrying and fish!
