We live in a wee town in S.W. WA where the population isn't much different than the elevation. When the kid was in Jr High, he went out for football. He was gangly youth about 140# and saw very little playing time. We always told him to just give it your best and have fun. Several years ago we bought a C-Dory and have been doing a bunch of fishing and, needless to say, have been eating scads of fresh fish.
Strictly because of C-Dory ownership, fish consumption and anchor pulling, Jr Buckwheat has put on enough muscle and ate enough brain food to be named to the All Region football team. This team contains players from the big schools throughout SW WA so for a kid from a school with a cow pasture for a playing field, it speaks volumes about the power of C-Dorying.
of course all the time he spent in the weight room had nothing to do with any of his success
