With many of us planning to cruise the Broughton Archipeligo this summer, in chatting with other c brats it was felt to try and hold a gathering in the Broughtons.

I will be at Pierres at Echo Bay for July 6 and 7 and in the immediate area for several more days perhaps Waddington Bay.

Pierre's is very well know for it's pig roast and prime rib events and fun atmosphere.

At this moment there is space at the dock and room to reserve for meal events.

This is about 28 miles from Port McNiel launch ramps and in the heart of the Broughtons.

reserve space at the dock and dinner as this is a populr spot in summer.

Depending on turnout we can do a cruise in company, tours of Proctors museum and or what ever we can dream up.

Don't know if we will have any space left for Prime Rib after Pig on the 25th and we are guestimating on starting our return South at about that date but....as Roger says...."what schedule?"

I'm sitting in the cockpit of Kerri On having a pale ale under my new bimini and enjoying the warm afternoon. I am so grateful to enjoy great health and my little Kerri On. Enya is playing and life is good. How many folks are we going to see at Pierre's? Make it your goal to be there and you'll be there! Looking forward to seeing you all, my friends. George

We are "coming to town" (Newcastle probably) on June 16th in the Steroidially Challenged CD + a Mutant MacGregor Sailboat on June 16th, if Poseidon and the other Gods permit, on our way to the Great Pig Roast in the sky where we hope to meet up with other Brats and where, with a little arm twisting we might just manage a Prime rib before going downhill back to Whidbey.

Can you please emulate Barry and do a rain dance for us ??

Have recently read both good and bad about the Dinghy Dock pub. Any local input ?? Since all of our family + friends + Dog have birthdays in June (like all well organized people) we need a place to celebrate at least 3 birthdays.

We will save long term anniversary celebrations for the Broughtons.. Yes, you know who you are !! :D

Hi there, been doing the rain dance daily. Seems to be working.

I've been to the Dinghy Dock several times in the last month or so. All very good experiences.

The staff is petty long term most of them and do a really good job.

George- your timing is we will be on Island with sister and family from ontario that week and now we will be thinking about where we could have been- hope everyone has a great time and the liquid sunshine is far away
