anyone looking to repower? good deal on a 90hp

I could be wrong, but I believe that in 50 hp and over motors, short shaft is 20"
and long shaft is 25". I'm pretty sure the 22 C-Dorys use a 20" shaft motor.

I don't think there is a different "scale" for larger outboard engines. The way I know it, 15" is short shaft; 20" is long shaft; and 25" is extra-long shaft. However, it is possible that larger engines only tend to come in long or extra-long.

I believe c-dory's use a long shaft motor with the exception of the Tomcats which use the extra long shaft outboards.

I thought the 25 took an extra-long shaft too. Reason I say that is that I believe I remember someone wanting to re-power a 25 with a pair of the "new" Yamaha 70's but they don't (or at least did not then) come in extra-long shaft.

Wild Blue has the 25" shaft Honda XA (extra long)

Sorry for the misinformation. I must be getting my wires crossed in my mind from my time with Arima's.
