I am interested in a set of the c-dory cockpit floorboards for a 1994 22' cruiser. I really like the way it "levels" the cockpit out as well as keeping the water under your feet! I went to cutter to buy a new set and they said c-dory no longer makes them for the older 22'. If you have any or know of any for sale please let me know. Thanks

I had "Dry Deck" rubber squares that snap together on my 22 c-dory Angler...worked great!..inside and out of boat!! keep your feet dry and easy to clean..great non slip!!! the slope is so small on the deck...you do not need panels!!

I personally prefer standing down on or near the bottom of the boat myself, but I wonder if there's a cottage industry potential here for someone if the factory doesn't want to build the floorboards anymore themselves?

Would they sell or lease the molds to someone?

One could always make a set of molds off an exixting set of floorboards, of course.

Wouldn't want to get into a legal bind with anyone, however.

Our floorboards are made out of wood. The FBs came with the boat. If you would like to make them, e-mail me and will send you the info to build them.
 
I am curious as to what these floorboards look like. Can anyone point me to the appropriate photo? Thanks.

I too made floorboards out of pressure treated lumber and composite lumber. Worked out nicely. Click on my photo album and look for the album Aft Deck Project. I have pictures showing how I did it and the progress. Entire project cost about $100, but I was able to find the composite lumber at half price on clearance when I did it (read in the middle of winter in Ohio).

Our floorboards are made out of cedar. They would be very easy to construct. If you want to see them, go to the Anne-B photo album.
The cedar is dark with age but we now cover with an indoor-outdoor carpet that we only put down when we are on the boat.
They are easy to take out for cleaning and weigh between 30 and 40 lbs.
I can send you the dimensions to make the job easier for you.

mike and I made our own using cabinet grade plywoood I have the cruiser model and he has the angler for about $100
what I did was measure my floor and had home depot cut 2 pieces of ply laying across from port to starboard both the same length and width
The ply is never in the water since the supports are made out of starboard .i will measure tomorrow but i think they were 73in by 27in so it covers the the rear deck nicely . no more wet floor and we covered it with marine carpet .i need to put them in Ducks picture album
