Any recent NEXUS applicants?

I'm in the process of submitting the online NEXUS apps for me and the lovely wife...anyone in WA go through it recently that can share approximate timeframes for initial approval, interview and issuance?

In particular, given that we don't live near the interview locations (Seattle and Blaine, as I read things) - I'd like a rough idea how long after submitting the apps, we'll need to be prepared to travel there.

We (Joyce and I) did ours earlier this year. We filled out the online forms on Jan. 23rd and were "conditionally approved" on Jan 28th. "Conditionally approved" means that you're ready to schedule your interview. At this stage, you can go online and pick a date and time that is convenient to you - the available times are generally a couple of weeks later but I think you can schedule up to about 4 months out from when you get the email. We did our interviews on Feb 15th. We went to the Boeing field office at 9AM and were done by 9:30AM. Pretty quick overall process and pretty painless (other than the poorly designed website).

I assumed the Seattle location was downtown somewhere - but the fact that it's at Boeing Field is a big plus for us. Just looked it up - they're even in the same building as Kenmore Air, which we use pretty regularly...so we can schedule things to easily coincide with a flight.

Also - about how long after the interview, did you receive your actual NEXUS pass?

I don't know that date for sure since they came in the mail and I don't have a record of their arrival. However, I think we got the pass within a week to 10 days or so after the interview. It didn't seem like it took long.
