We are towing a 26' Venture C-Dory to Alaska this week. The owner lives in Wasilla and did not have the time to tow it.

We are in Cache Creek, British Columbia tonight.

The boat came from Florida just like mine did 4 yrs. ago.
 
Are you driving the Cassiar?
I will be leaving the US via Sweetgrass Montana entrance in May. I will be hauling our new to us 25 up to Girdwood on the 20th or so... Lots of oil patch traffic on the Alcan. Good luck. pz
 
No Cassiar this trip.. We need to go to Dawson Creek to visit friends.
Snowing here in Chetwind tonight.
 
In Haines Jct., Yukon Territory tonight. Good trip so far.

I tow with a 2004 Dodge 3500 dually CTD. The boat is no big load for it.

I towed my 1983 22' up in 1983 from Kent, Wash.
This is the 6th C-Dory I have towed to Alaska.

Enjoy your classic. I surely did for 26 yrs. Sometimes I wished I still had it. Lots of advantages over my present CD.

The 26-footer is a lot bigger than the 17-foot Arima we've been enjoying for the past eight years.
