Aluminum outboard backing plates

I saw some really spiffy backing plates for outboards, that go on the inside of the transom, and have either Honda or other brand of motor stamped on them.
I can swear I saw them here, but it's been awhile back.
Anybody familiar with these? Anybody have a link maybe?

Thanx,
Gordon

Gordon, have one of the shops in town make them for you. I suspect that except for the name, that you would be just as good--and cheaper.

Their out there somewhere. It's no big deal, I just thought a little boat bling in the splash well would be nice. 8)
I didn't think spreading the load out could hurt either. The ones I saw were nice looking, with rolled edges etc, and the Honda was raised on the face.......I think?????.....it's been awhile.

i agree, have a shop make them for you, it will be cheaper, i have made a handful of them for folks before, and i know i was cheaper, i even made a few fancy ones that had the boat name engraved in them, looks like you're in florida, if you were closer i could do it for you but honestly you could probly find cheaper if you shop locally because there would be no shipping, if you get stumped though, let me know, id be happy to help...

Thanks for the offer. Maybe as a last resort. :beer

Custom Washer Plates must be what you're thinkin' about. 2nd item down.

I have a name for it now anyway. :D Thankyou.

I have a fertile imagination, so I have to be careful, but I pretty sure the ones I saw already had the logo on the plate. When I saw them(or think I saw them  , it was like they'd been cast in a mold.
