OK, I know, I’m just all revved up about purchasing a 2004, 19’ Angler (I guess all 19’s are Anglers, right).

Anyway, looking at this 19’ Angler (in photos received, we will pick it up around January 6th), it would seem that they could have the same forward space as the 22’ angler, but with shorter space behind the cabin to the transom.

Is that a correct observation or is the forward hull unique to itself (bigger than the 16’, smaller than the 22’)?

the 19 angler has the same beam as the 22 angler or cruiser also the same front v berth area the real difference is 3 ft behind the seats is missing just look at the c-dory factory site and you can get measurements . Good Luck with your new boat . Jim

The way I've always looked at it is that the CD-19 has the shorter sized cabin of the CD-22 Angler (compared to the longer cabin of the CD-22 Cruiser), combined with the shorter cockpit of the CD-22 Cruiser (compared with the longer cockpit of the CD-22 Angler).

Thus, when compared with the CD-22 Cruiser and Angler, the CD-19 has the combination of both the shorter cabin and the shorter cockpit of the two CD-22 models. That's where the three feet savings come from!

Also, in the CD-19, the bulkhead found on CD-22 Cruisers and (some, but not all) CD-22 Anglers has been removed.

I believe the floor plans of the CD-19 and CD-22 Angler are similar, but not necessarily identical.

The v-berth in all three models is the same.

The CD-19 was simply referred to simply as the CD-19, but it's resemblance to the Angler style boat in function and form has led common usage to frequently refer to it as an "Angler".

This is all to the best of my knowledge, others may have reached somewhat different conclusions over the years.
