If it was me, I'd go with two thin women. Easier to rearrange and adjust to conditions, fuel use, etc. Of course, to be fair, I would also suggest that the female captains amongst us use healthy, good looking males for ballast (after all males aren't good for much else most of the time). :wink:

I wrote Mike privately that I consulted Google images to find him some illustrative augmentation to his S.F.C. ballast theory or recipe, but that the racy photos were unsuitable for publication here.

Actually, while most of them were more than a little pornographic, they also were more suitable for a discussion of how to harpoon a whale. As ballast, the ladies could be rolled around shipboard as needed.

If you wanted a male version of one of these, a Sumo wrestler would be your ticket.
