After Hontoon Gathering Jacksonville Trip

North to Jacksonville.
I usually lead a cruise after the Hontoon Island CBGT. This year I’m going north to Jacksonville. I plan on leaving on Friday March 8th late morning. Anyone who wants to come along is welcome. It should take about a week to make Jacksonville and about a week to come back to Hontoon.

We travel slowly and usually anchor out or use free docks. Side rivers and lakes will be visited. There are marinas all along the way for those who need them. Joyce and I will be able to point them out. There are a few restaurants that I will stop at but we cook most meals onboard.

Our motto is “The River flows freely and so do we”. So if you’re able to be flexible be sure to join us.

Thataway is in. We have to be back about the 22nd--meet daughter and grand daughter in New Orleans on the 26th. So we may run back down river a little faster.

Count Rosanne and I in also. We know it will be fun! At the latest we have to be back to Ed Stone to pull out early on the 19th. (We may make the run back faster, depending upon some other visits we may decide to make on the way back home.) Colby
