Is anybody carrying an Achilles LT4 on the cabin top of a 25' Cruiser?
I bought one but it sure seems heavier than the advertised 57 lbs. the plywood flooring adds a lot of weight. Suggestions?

I carried on on my 25, no major problems. You have to slide them up. I am carrying a heavier boat on my 22 currently (9 1/2" air floor--about 68#). The weight of the boat is correct. You may end up glassing the slat floor pieces they can break fairly easily.

Some folks slide them up on the fore deck and then on the cabin top--We are using a Garhauer Davit on our 22. As we have aged, it makes it easier.

As anyone substituted anything for the heavy plywood panels in the LT4? Also, sort of on the subject, do you think a Torqeedo 1003 will push the 25' Cruiser? It's the equivalent of a 3-horse. And, if you've mounted one, what type of adjustable transom mount did you go with? Catleen has a swim platform on the port side so I'd have to install the mount of the starboard between the Honda and the trim tab. Thanks.
