Remember this thread from the old site?

Yeah, I flaked. We're just finishing up our remodel, and just now got the VCR out of storage. The movie's still on the Tivo, and I'm copying the first tape now.

So...here's the list of folks who said they wanted a copy:

Keith (C-Pup)

RF

Mr. F.

Fireman Dave

Joe Law (Sundog)

Roger (Fishtales)

I'll drop you all emails as they ship - if any of you didn't get me your address (or it's not on the C-Brat mailing list), send it to me in a PM.

I've got two extra tapes, if anyone else wants a copy - I can get more if there is interest.

Thanks, Bill. I'm sure that you will be coming up in the very near future, so if you'd rather bring it up with you that would be fine.
I sure appreciate your doing this.

Bill,
Rick and I would love to buy a copy of that movie if you have an extra one. We looked all over for it. We only have one channel here in the "sticks" (CBS) which gets kind of boring. Mailing address is Box 1052, Shoshone, Id. 83352. Thanks
Pat
P.S. You can send it "media" rate (that's the cheapest)which used to be called "book" rate, before I retired from being a postal person.

Man, that was fast Roger! I thought media mail would take a while.

OK, in addition to Roger, tapes have gone out for that other Red Boat guy, Joe Law, and Pat/Rick in Idaho. I'll do up the next batch this weekend, and mail them out on Monday.

As for the rest of you on the list - Mr. F., Red Fox and Keith on C-Pup - I either never got your mailing addresses, or have lost them. Drop me a note so I can get the tapes out to you.

Thank you Bill for the movie. Haven't had a moment to view it yet. (You know....busy with boat stuff).
I'll work on something special for you for going to all the effort to get this copied and to me!

PJ and I cuddled up on the couch Saturday night and watched the movie. We enjoyed it very much--- the movie that is. She even fixed me a cup of hot chocolate with a liberal amount of Irish Creme to sip while watching. :tea

Bill,
Thanks for the video. We got it yesterday and watched it last night. If there's anyone else who would like to see it, we'd be happy to mail it on to them. Just let us know. No sense you making hundreds of copies. We can share. We owe you a :beer or :cocktail when we get to Seattle.

It's called "Navigating the Heart" with Jacklyn Smith. It's a romantic story about a salmon fisherman in BC and a reporter from NY and their adventures on his boat.

David, its what I affectionately call a "chick flick". Although this one does have some adventure, boats and good scenery. If my old memory serves me right C-Pup 16 from California was the one who told us about it.

Bill was kind enough to send me a copy of it. If you'd like to see or burn a copy off of mine, you are most welcome to do so.

The curling up on the couch with the "main squeeze" and a bottle of wine while viewing this is a great setting for an evening at home! (In your case it would probably have to be a great bottle of your famous Snoqualamie Falls Brew!)

I could go for a copy in my film library. I don't have the capability to burn one. Only have one VHS deck and a DVD. As far as curling up on the couch with the "main squeeze" and a nice bottle of :beer ,whatever. The "main squeeze" always falls asleep just after the beginning. Then the next morning complains of a neckache and wants to know how the movie turned out.

The movie is one of my very favorites now :love ! ("chick-flick" or not!) FYI; Do you all know it is a book to? Called (fishing with john) by Edith Iglauer
Thnx Bill. :smile

Hi All! WOW! I really started a movie fan club with my original posts about "Navigating The Heart!" Now I just can see all you guys telling your wives or sweethearts (hopefully both, meaning the same person) that "We HAVE TO strip naked NOW and hug under a dry blanket to avoid dying from HYPOTHERMIA!" Just remember that you're suppose to be soaking wet in a sinking boat when you say that,... not on your sofa while watching this movie!

I have a favor to ask. I saw this movie by chance on TV during the wee hours of the morning one night when suffering from insomnia. Kimiko hasn't seen it yet. I tried buying it at Amazon.com but it was apparently made only for TV and is not for sale or for rent at Hollywood Video. I'd really like to receive a copy of the movie to view it with Kimiko. (So I can teach her preventative hypothermia treatment!) If anyone is willing to lend me theirs, I'll view it and return it promptly. Just email me at kdager@earthlink.net to let me know. Thank you!

Keith (C-Pup)

Keith-
Glad to see you will be able to watch the movie with your honey.
I've been out of town and didn't get your email till tonight.

Hi Keith,
It's in the mail.....mailed it this morning and there is only one pony express rider leaving Arlington daily and that is at 1700 HRS today. Hopefully, you'll receive it in time for your weekend viewing pleasure! :wink

P.S. You don't need to return it. (I managed to obtain another one).
