We got em' in lower Suisun Bay.....close to the Concord Naval Station.

Nice fish!
I've read that you have to put in 100hrs just to land one. You'd think that in 10 outtings with 4 guys we'd land one by now....

OK, who gonna be the WiseGuy to make a remark about it taking 100 hours to land a hooked fish? :crook

(Really means it takes about an average of 100 hours to get a good bite and a hooked fish on, not 100 hours to land it.)

Joe. :teeth :thup

Great fish, my favorite stomping grounds. Definitely have to put your time in to get them. Used to be happy with 1 keeper per day with 3-4 guys fishing.

What bait?? Big tide??

Perfect time, after big rain, muddy water. :thup

Bait was Lamprey and ghost. The tide was in the middle of the big outgo...30 feet of water....took about 25 minutes to land.

Nice fish. With only a 1/2" to spare on the size, you definitely wanted to hold that one horizontally until you got it home, so it didn't stretch a 1/2" between when you and the gamie measured it!
