5/16" barb to 3/8" barb adapter

This may seem trivial, but does anyone know of a source for a 5/16" barb to 3/8" barb gasoline fuel line adapter (brass preferred)? I cannot find one anywhere (except questionable ones on Amazon). I don't want to put gasoline in questionable fittings. Last year I replaced all fuel lines with new 5/16" ID lines, which meets the spec for my older Honda BF90. I want to install a fuel flow sensor, and the recommended Navico unit has 3/8" barbs. This unit should be installed after the fuel filter/water separator. I can easily change out the "out" fitting at the filter, but I want to keep most of my fuel lines the same size, so I need to get back down to 5/16" to get to the motor. All I need is one adapter, but I can't seem to find one. Any ideas? Thanks!

Check out a local hardware store that has a large selection of fittings. Also, can you find a 5/16" fitting that will go right into your fuel filter base? I do see both brass and stainless steel barbed fittings that are 5/16" x 3/8" on Amazon. I think they would be fine.

There are direct adaptors hose barb 5/16 to 3/8 in nylon (Although nylon is resistant, I don't use it in fuel lines) and brass. Another way to do it is to get the 5/16 and the 3/8 barb to 1/4" pipe thread and a close coupling and made your adaptor.

For the fuel flow, I have just just put a fine mesh filter in line before the turbine flow meters. That works fine. They are concerned about larger debris. Same for fuel pumps.

You do have to be sure that the directions for "up" and fuel flow direction are followed.
