42 zip--- Seahawks-Eagles

With a game like that, it is obvious there will be some modifications to the dates of the Seattle Boat Show.

Those Philly stands sure did empty out. Who says the sun doesn't shine in Seattle?

My goodness, I don't even watch football. Where i come from, there's only 'football' Yet, I was switching channels today and saw the game at 42-0, I don't know much about football, but I do know 42-0 is a badddd thing

I only watched the one fumble with that one guy rushing around the blocks and getting the ball from the quarterback during 3rd quarter...man, that guy didn't know what he was doing...he droped the ball and turned around to see it in hands way, yet he just stood there and the other team took the ball! What a guy

Way to go :smilep

It appears that the Seahawks have both an offense and a defense this year + they're out to prove something this year....early dates for the boat show

Is the anticipated payoff game on Saturday or Sunday, or is that known yet? Can't we live with a Sunday playoff date? I know Saturday would be impossible! Joe.

the Seahawks will definately play either Sat or Sun. we don't know which day yet. and the problem with having a game the same day as the boat show is that there would be absolutley 0 parking and the mass people would be such a headache and nightmare for all involved

What a boring game, turned it off and went bed. I think the Eagle fans did the same thing. The biggest shut-out in foot-ball history. Not good.

Only good if you're a Seahawk fan...bad for Philly and bad ball to watch. I never was a big F.ball nut untill the kid started playing. Some High school football fiend compiled a list of the 10 most exciting H.S. games in state history, I watched the kid play in two of the games listed and now I'm hooked

B~C,
You watching the NFR this week? That one bull rider was out before he left the back of the bull! He got clocked on the chin by the horns-- knocked him out cold.

hey boss, I've been watching bits of it every now and then but didn't see the bull rider get biffed. You see guys that have a hunkered up, "monkey" style of riding, matched up with a bull that throws it's head back, makes for a bad combo...It's kind of crazy that a guy can go out and catch 10Lbs of bass in one weekend and make more money than those guys make all year.

B~C, now come on, how in the world would you know that? Unless you used to ride the things, then you better climb down off your high horse, mister!

(Well, actually, B~C has done a bit of rodeoing in his time. Let's see if we can get him to talk a little about it.)

I was a mixed up kid that forged moms name on entry forms when I was 15 so I could go to bull riddings. I got rather proficient at it up until I got the craving to live longer. Twas no biggie, growing up in Pendleton that was normal behavior. Maybe I can take digital pics of some old pics and post um.

The coolest thing about the whole era for me was that I worked for a guy that was a top old time bronc rider and as a result of that, I got to meet many of the legends of the sport.

Ma would never let my brother and I play football cuz it was to dangerous. Brother was into ski racing and rock climbing. We should have spent our youth practicing bass fishing

How's horse ownership treating you? get those girls some golf clubs :)

Jack Barnes- the header in the team roping event lost his right thumb last night as it got caught by the rope on the horn.
Great pics.

Tickets to the playoff game anyone? This east coaster will be in town ...and has never been to a "pro" game. Ya know, SEC football is pretty much professional...other than we have to try hard to hide their salaries and it is not a topic for local/national news.....unless caught. :crook

I'd love to go to the play off game and do some tailgaiting Seattle style. Anyone got ticket access and up for it?

One of my friends in the RV club we belong to here in Redding won the BASS Pro tournament at Lake Shasta two weeks ago. 34+ lbs of bass ='s a new$30,000 bass boat and $20,000 cash. Not bad for two days work! Joe.

what a bass hole, aint it insane the money those guys reel in?

A person would be living large if they could hit the boats show and an NFL playoff game the same weekend, I'll keep an ear to the ground on playoff tickets. We went to our first game a few weeks back when they played the Giants. The game is just part of the experience, bring ear plugs.

B~C - Thanks for those pictures. Too wild! You even had a bunch of hair back then - in both places.

Ya, I was a hairball, traveled in a old VW camper bus with tie died curtains and Jim Croce blaring one summer....I was a mixed up youth

those Colts are rollin,to bad their first meeting with the Seahawks will be a meaningless game, it could have been good game if it was weeks earlier....oh well, when they meet the next time itwill be meaningfull :)
