$300,000 cup holders

Not much going on in Eastern WA state this weekend so I spent the $2 to get into the boat show at the TRAC arena. Took all of 3 minutes to walk the side with ski boats, another 2 or 3 to look at the AlumiWelds. Crossed over to the yacht side of the arena to see what $300,000 could buy.

None of this will be news to you experienced boat owners. I don't have a C-Dory (yet) and the only one I have been in was a 16' on a back of a trailer in Coeur d'Alene, but I know what I like. Took my shoes off and scambled around a couple Carvers and others. Most of the big boats were marked "Do not sit on furniture" but I did anyway. I found out that you need to spend over $300,000 to get the roominess and storage of a C-Dory. Boats in the $240,000 - $275,000 range had little in galley storage, a near unusuable v-berth, way too narrow and short seats that were to be used as additional berths, tiny portholes. Ok so it did have built in cup holders...

You are being a little too hard on what $300,000 will get you! How about a Nordic Tug? None of us here would look with distain on that now, would we? The "home base" for the C-Pod!
