22 foot boat plug and manual

I have realized that the boat plug for my 22 foot 2007 C-Dory is kind of kerplunk. It does not want to tighten or loosen without a lot of effort. Before I drive up next time I want to buy a replacement and an extra. Does anyone know what size I need.

Also, I want an extra copy of my 2007 factory manual, about 25 pages. If anyone else wants a copy I will get it made for you too, charging only whatever the extra cost is, plus postage. It is about 25 pages long, and is bound with plastic with many square holes. [/list]

With all the electronics, maybe you should consider scanning the operating manual into a pdf file. Then it can very easily be shared by uploading or downloading. Perhaps a great idea for the manufacturer themself!

I have a 2005 C-Dory 22 manual in .pdf format. I imagine I must have downloaded it from the documents section here? I'll have a look and then come back with a link....

Okay, back. Yes, I downloaded it from the Documents sub-forum here on C-Brats. There is a series of manuals for many models. Here is a link to the thread:

Thanks Sunbeam. I noticed the date on the CD-22 manual is Feb 2000. But I suspect for the most part, there are not too many changes to that manual. But even on the one that came with my boat (2007), it's not completely up to date... :-) Colby

I am intrigued. My 2008 23 Venture built by Fluid came manual free. I haven't missed it but I wonder what it would have said. If anyone has a manual for either a 22 or 23 that is in PDF and they would like to email I would be thankful.

Transom plug is the 1 inch. I drove up to Everett today and had a good meeting with a local recommended mobile boat mechanic. We checked just about all of the mechanicals. Weather was not so hot, unexpected fog uber alles, so no trip down to Bell harbor marina in down town Seattle

RobLL, is that transom plug a threaded one or smooth walled, for an expandable rubber stopper type plug? I am assuming you are working on the bilge plugg not on for the splash well, right?
