22 Cruiser for sale

I've been watching that one on different NW craigslists for a month or more, through a couple of price drops, and wondered why no one scooped it up. Hopefully the new owner will chime in here!

After doing some research on the company trying to sell this boat, I wouldn’t want to buy a car from them! Let the buyer beware. I am thinking this might be a scam due to the 2013 registration sticker on the bow of the boat and looking at some of the company reviews.

this is why i wouldnt buy it, its been cleaned for sure but who knows the true condition of the engines and what not- too big a risk in my opinion

$13500 for a 22 on a trailer is not a bad deal even if you have to replace the engines, electronics, and refurb the trailer. As long as the hull is good. Looks ok in the pictures.

Two different links discussed. Is it the same boat? The OP link shows almost $42,000 for the boat.

Good eye, ttking. Same registration number, same boat would be my guess. Some spidey-sense thing turned me off on the Lot 99 LLC ad, glad to get the "before" pic. The "after" pics look pretty shiny.

Good detective work, gents.

Well, can't really blame someone for trying to make a buck or two.

I would venture that the last time the boat was used was in 2013 when registered. Boat looks very clean, but I would be suspect of the engines, specifically the carbs. Maybe they cleaned and rebuilt them. Hope so. Could be a nice boat for someone who is willing to thoroughly survey the hull and engines.

Good work! I thought this thread was going to be about the *other* auction boat that people have been running scams with.

Lot99 and Speedy's Towing are both notorious for anyone who lives in the Portland area and is into vehicles.

Lot99 has a 2.6 star google review, which is difficult to achieve considering the way car dealers game the review system.

Hopefully any interested parties will get a proper and extensive survey.

The owner put a new single engine on it, so ~52k in a old C Dory. Makes me feel good about the purchase price of my 2012
