I should have mentioned that this boat has been used in fresh water for most of her life (first 200 hrs.)and is now lifted out of the brackish water here on the Bon Secour River when not in use. Very hard to find a used C-dory in better condition or that has had any better care.

Water pumps were replaced in September 2011.

Stored out of the sun in a covered boat house.

Serious offers will be considered.

Hi Dan. Definatly opposite ends of the map from myself on the westcoast but wondering if the Osprey is still on the market. Salud, Terry

Hey Dan. Thanks for the reply and sorry for not returning sooner. Just thinking about the logistics of checking Osprey out and if it worked, how to bring her to the WestCoast. Fly down, rent a truck for towing and two weeks cruising home. Ahhhh the brain is working. The days are to short for me so I may call you on the weekend.
Thanks
Terry

Hi Dan, I just noticed your boat for sale and she looks like a beauty! Just what I am looking for.
Just to get started: That was quite an accident you have pictured. Hope no one was injured. Looks like trailer brakes failed, was this the case and are they working now. Did trailer tongue survive without getting bent. Warren Taylor (wtaylord) 207 363 3815 wtaylord@yahoo.com

Warren,

Thanks for your interest. She really is a beauty. As far as the accident goes, there was nothing wrong with the brakes. It had to do with attempting to keep enough control in a 8 wheel skid so as not to kill the kid and doing that on two very dissimilar substrates. Check out the 5th post on this page where I explain "how it happened":

The trailer tongue had a slight bend to it as a result of the accident and though it still worked fine we decided to replace it. The trailer now has a brand new hitch and tongue and is in fine condition.

Warren, I will send you an e-mail.

Dan
