2005 22 Angler (Mount Vernon)- Craigslist

I see that you live in the Powell River area. I have been looking at online postings for float homes up there, very nice place from the pictures.

The phone number on the Craigs list is Master Marines number.

What's an Alaska bulkhead? I live in Alaska so maybe I need one. :?:

An Alaskan bulkhead is basically a removable or roll-up glass or canvas rear wall of a cabin. Mostly seen on fishboats where there is a lot of traffic from cabin to cockpit and back. The 19 has an Alaskan bulkhead as an option, I believe. Ruth and Joe's original R-Matey had a fiberglass bulkhead that Joe built.

Speaking of which, I haven't seen Ruth here in a dog's age. Has she forsaken us for the Tugnuts?

I want to be a tugnut.
Thanks for explanation of Alaska bulkhead. Wonder how that name came about?

Hi Warren,

Thanks for thinking of us. We're still here and we miss you! See you at the SBS.

I guess i learned something new today, i thought an Alaskan Bulkhead was more of a permanent, solid structure like C-Dorys have with the door. I would of thought that a removable/canvas snap or glass rear partition of the cabin to keep out the elements was called a drop down curtain. Tug
