2004 C-Brat Events in Washington State / Oregon

I'm a free man from March 25 untill April 5th and I aim to spend some quality time on the water....South Sound, Blake, Blakely, it's all good. Also in that time frame, I may be able to wrangle a good deal on a private lodge with docks on the Snake (Brownlee pool) anybody game for limbering up their tow rigs?

That is the Jerrell's Cove or South Sound weekend...how about April or August?

How about Blake in the last weekend in March 27, 28. Since we have the opening of boating season if the first of May just might be a better fit. Any thoughts?

I'm up for about any weekend, perhaps one of the out of town guests could hurl up a date...sheesh, I can't even remember what month we did it last year......I may not be old...but damit I'm stiil senile

Senility is just a state of mind, Ken. You're old enough for it.

I do believe it was April the last two years for the first CCBGT. Last year was third weekend of April. And we got to meet a few new folks.

Hi there. Hey, somebody pick a weekend. I can talk to the harbormaster and do the rest. Which weekend will get the most Puget Sounders down here?

Any old weekend is fine with me. I'll probably be right across the river at work, anyway. I just got called in for tonight. Them guys keep beaking stuff.

It was a joke, Bill. Just a stupid joke. Larry just moved to Cathlamet, and he could hit B~C's boat with a rock from his porch when it's there.

Okay, I just checked the calendar. Nothing is scheduled in March, Lake Powell is the weekend of April 24 and Lopez Island is April 31. So, how's about Cathlamet early in April, like the 3rd or 10th to space out these gatherings? Anybody have a preference for the weekend of the 3rd or 10th of April for Cathlamet?
April is the peak of the springer run in the Columbia. :wink

Those two dates are dandies, lets wait and hear from the out of towners (north and south) and see if any travelers have a particular preference......should be fun, when Larry gets done throwing rocks at my boat, we can motor over to the other side of the river and say hello to Mike :)

Bill may not have it on the "official" calendar, but I think most everyone else has Jerrell's Cove for March 26 - 28 (check top message in this thread)...

May 13- 15 and 20 - 22 should be the Halibut opener if history repeats it's self. I will be in Newpoer and expect Shearwater to be there too. B~C should show up... Who else wants to make this an official C-Brat Halibut adventure?

South Beach Marina

Thanks for bringing that to my attention, Pat. It looks like we should do the Cathlamet gathering on the 10th of April then. That would make it 2 weeks after Jerrell's Cove and 2 weeks before Lake Powell. B~C and Tyboo Mike, does that sound okay with you? Anyone else have any thoughts or comments on this date for Cathlamet?

the 10th it is then for Catherderlamett

Hope to make it down for a try at the Hallibut fishing....kinda depends on what the kid has going at that time however.

Hey Ray
I'm planning on halibut fishing with y'all this year. This retirement thing isn't so bad, I might be able to hit all the events.

Anybody want to hit the Brownlee on the Snake mid-week, right after Jarrel Cove, End of March- first week of April?
