Sorry - no trailer. Boat is winterized and kept on land each winter.

Hi;
I may be interested in your 22' Cruiser. But since I live near Edmonton, a trailer would be a must. Also although your boat is well equiped it seems a little pricey compared to other 22' Cruisers listed for sale. Should you consider lowering your price please keep me posted.

Hi and thanks for your interest. Our boat has sold and transaction should be complete at the end of the week. When it's done I'll remove the ad.

Just for your reference we had 12 calls immediately and it sold within hours.

Good luck on your search!

I have been watching prices and sales in the PNW and I don't think that boat was over priced. Sure doesn't look like it by the responses. Nothing like pricing according to value and quality. I have been watching some friends from up north, miss out on boat after boat, by not being ready to jump at the first flash. This is a new boat with a nice setup, and C-Dorys are valuable. Congratulations to both the sellers and the buyers. Great day for each.

Very well put Harvey. You can loose a lot of boating time and sometimes years waiting for that super deal. Is it worth it in the long run.

Folks;
Well I may be out to lunch on what a used 22' cruiser is worth. I have seen what looked like some pretty good boats with trailers listed for around $35K US. Also the Cnd $ is now worth more than the US and this boat was priced at $43K Cnd. Please enlighten me on some of the prices for major things like a good used trailer need to haul a 22' cruiser? What are the used Honda 40 Hp motors worth? The specific boat we are discussing had alot of electronics on it, maybe more than is necessary? So what would all the used electonics on a boat like this be worth?
Thanks again for all the good comments and help.

Sounds like you're trying to "build" the price? Pretty difficult to do.

Best way is to price new ones, or the equivalent items (you can find prices on the net) and see what a new one would cost. Then look at the price it's being offered at, factor in age and usage and figure out what you'd pay for it. Obviously you gotta factdor in where it is and how you're going to get it home. My 1994 CD 22 recently sold in two days.

You've got to jump on these quickly if you see one you want. Some of them stay on the market for awhile but the bargains go quickly. You can tell which ones are the bargains by how fast they go!

Good luck in the hunt! Remember the two happiest days in a boaters life are the day you buy your boat and the day you sell it!

Charlie;
I don't understand what you mean by building a price. Again I have seen alot of good boats some newer with trailers and more 4cycle hp priced at around $35K. Why was the boat in Vancouver worth 43K?? Surely someone on this site can enlighten me, especially the value of a used trailers needed to haul a 22' C-Dory and the value of 40 hp Honda outboards. Are the electronics the key to the price of this boat? It just seems to me that if I have to pay $43K for a used older boat I may want to buy a new boat and equip for my specific needs over a period of time.
