2002 Cruiser hi top 22 ft $31, 500 SF Bay

Hi! Do you have any more details about the boat and its equipment?

The more you detail, the more likely you are to sell the boat!

Engines? Hours? Trailer? Electronics? Canvas? Windlass? Swim step? Stove/heater? Fishing equipment? Other details? History? PHOTOS?

God Luck!

Joe. :teeth :thup

Thanks for the suggestion.
I do have a full page of info about the twin 50's, Lowrances, etc. but decided not to clutter up the web site. Info avail. at thorparthur@yahoo.com.
Like your logos! Bet you are part of the group that sets the sundial bridge for DST.
Wow! Sea Brat # 31. You must really be old! Think I must have your picture on my Shellback certificate!

No, don't worry about the space. People want to read about it! Post them here. Photos, too!

Yeah, it was really hard pushing the Sun forward an hour in the sky!

Yup, 73 and going fast! Downhill is always an easy ride! Unfortunately, no brakes available on the aging process. Ah, what was I saying???

Good Luck!

Joe's correct. The more detail you provide about your boat in the listing here, the more likely you will be to sell the boat. Right now there are several other 22/23' C-dorys for sale on this site and nearly all of them have very detailed descriptions in their posts. To some extent, that's your "competition". If you want to compete effectively, you need to provide a similar (or better) level of detail.

Thanks for your comments. Ten years ago, when I was your age, I felt that it was far more better to see the glass as half full rather then......Now, in spite of losing my life long boating companion, I'm sure it's better to stay on the positive side of things and avoid the folks who are against everything. Delta Towed,

The link you provide goes to an email account. It would be helpful to have a more complete list about your boat here. As mentioned, detail is helpful, important and will accomplish more of what yo are trying to get -- the boat sold.

Pictures (someplace) are a real plus too. Can be added here with an album or link provided here to another site if you prefer, (even a link to Craigs List) but this is probably the best place to sell a C-Dory.

There are lots of boats for sale currently. Take a look at the home page, lower right corner and see how they are presented.

Good luck on your sale.

Not a clue. Do not even know where to look it up. How's that for ignorance! Would testing compression ratio give us any useful info? Last stink pot I owned had two inboard Chev engines so I know a lot more about them than O/Bs.

Compression measurements would be useful and informative. There is also probably a way the hours of operation can be obtained from some onboard computer system (I assume that a 2003 would have such a device).

Using Yamaha Diagnostic Software you can pull the hours, hours at various rpms and various component testing, etc along a printout

A service shop should have it. If you were closer I would run for you

Delta towed,

If you have Yamaha gauges, on the Tachs, bottom, below the rpm gauge there may be an hour meter, digital flip type like the early "digital" clocks. If it is not there, (which is where mine are), you can get it off the engines, but it would have to be from the mechanics when they do a read out.

The key will have to be turned to the "ON" position, but the engine dies not have to be started or running.

On mine, there is only one hour meter on one tach, but there is a way for the mechanics to get the other one read as well.

Hope that helps.

Yes Jim, I will also sell the Dodge 1/2 ton pickup that I bought to pull this boat. Bought it from a neighbor lady who bought it new and used it only for commuting. Has just less than 50K miles on it. Going to need tires soon.

Would you please send me a bit more about the Dodge pick-up please. I am looking. Miles? Engine? Cab configuration (2 or 4 dr), box length, color would be a good start. Thank you.

Truck is dark green with top coat pealing on top of cab. Engine is a v-8, not a hemi. When front door is open, rear doors can be opened to a fold up rear seat. Supposed to be able to get folks seated back there, but I'm 6'2" and doubt it would be comfortable for long. Bed is 6 ft. Think any more conversation should be via email. thorparthur@yahoo.com At ten miles per gallon I think it could eat you up coming from Sequim!

Just had engines checked out by potential buyer. Says Yamaha twins have about 1,000 hours on them and are "junk". Repair estimate about $8K. Think at 83 yrs young, I'm too old to play in this boat that I bought last September. Anyone interested in buying this boat and re-powering it?

Ditto on the second opinion. I'd get a qualified mechanic to check them.
