My 2002 200 hp Honda has a hose that goes from a fitting (clamped to it) under the power head on the port side under the power head and over to the stbd side and screwed onto the pee hole fitting. Hose is about 1/2". The stbd connection is garden hose thread.
What is this system all about.???

Jack, apparently you haven't gotten the hard copy of the owners manual yet. According to the download from the website I sent you, it's a flushing connection for the engine. Go to the website (use your serial number to get the right version) and download the manual. You can then page through it and find the info.

I went down to my friendly Honda dealer and asked the mechanic. He straightened me right out on that problem.
He also suggested that you could "T" off of that fitting to a faucet set-up in the boat and have warm water for hand washing when out fishing.......hummm. Anyone tried this??

Guy's there is one very important thing to remember about the flush attachment. It is never to be used to flush your motor when you have it on the trailer and out of the water while the motor is running. It does not replace the ear muffs that you are use to using. It provides no water to your water pump and you would ruin your impeller if you tried to run your engines on only the factory flush. RTFM

According to my information, the flush attachment flushes the same whether the engine is on or off, thus it is OK to use when the boat is on the trailer (and the motors are not running.) If you want to flush with the motors running, use the earmuffs.

Damn, I knew there was something wrong with one of youQ!Q!

Which one? It'll take a billion$ to figure that one out but there seems to be plenty of money around to do that! I'd hate to be a kid these days, let's not go there anymore though!
