Just bought a 1999 C-DORY 22 Cruiser. Came with a 2000 Susuki DF60 and a Merc. 9-9 kicker.
Would like to get a 90 or 115 Susuki if possible new or a couple of years old.
Would consider other models.
Has 2 Moeller 19 gal tanks. one fuel pick-up tube had broken off and when I checked the other it just crumbled in pieces. See new ones for sale but they get very bad reviews, starting to disintegrate after a year or two.
Any advice?
Larry.

Welcome aboard. The fuel pickup is an item regularly available in many places--steel or brass tubing. It should last a long time.

At this point you should pull the fuel tank, and change all hoses--including fill and vent, output to outboard.

Also check out the strips which hold the tanks in place. It is possible that there are screws into the hull inner laminate and core. If this is the case, the area where the screws go into the laminate, may have admitted moisture. In any case, they should be over drilled, filled with thickened epoxy and then the strips either put in place with epoxy, or screws back into the epoxy. plugs.
