1998 22 Angler, $25,500 (Central CA)

I have a very interested party from Alaska and I told him I thought I had seen posts on this site before about third party deliveries. Can anyone make suggestions about this?

Hey Trish! Before you move the boat, transfer full ownership of the sale to the new owner. Then, move the boat.

A lot of C-Brat folks travel up and down that west side. Somebody has to be responsible for the haul. I have moved boats for friends over here before simply because their tow vehicles were not up to it... but it was their boat and their insurance and they were with me.

May work some deal with a comercial hauler that is droping off new boats from the Seattle/Auburn area for a "haul back." Then Mr. &/or Mrs. Alaska buyer can pick it up there, or work a similar haul on other boats coming that way.

You have been a member of the C-Brats for almost two years... Ever been to the gatherings??? Some of your Brat friends made may help.

Went to see this boat on Friday with the intention of purchasing it, as it seemed to be very close to what I wanted. I drove 630 miles (roundtrip) to find that it needed more work than I was willing to entertain. My wife and I are kicking around the idea of biting the bullet and purchasing a new angler  ...............

Hi Trish,

I really like your C-Dory boat. We have spoken on the phone before and you sent me some pics. . My problem is that I live near Houston, Texas. It is what I want,. but going to and hauling the same back from California adds to the expense.

I will give you $24,000 (cash) if delivered here, or negotiate a lower price if I have to go to you to pick up. Perhaps there is a happy medium? Arizona? LOL.

Nick you should point out that you first decided against looking at my boat because you wanted the new C-Dory that had twin 50 hp hondas and brand new gear. You made it clear to me your wife preferred you buy a used boat, and viewed my boat as a compromise and with the mindset of what it would cost to equip my 1998 single 75 hp motor like the new one with twin 50 hps and new gear that you really wanted. I knew from the moment you arrived you came looking at a used boat expecting the amenities of the new boats. I sent you at least 20 pictures of the boat.

The Honda is a 4 stroke. I do not live full time where the boat is located and I will get the model numbers from the manuals by Friday.
