1992 C-Dory 22’ Cruiser with Blue stripe. Equipped with 2014 Yamaha F90 and Yamaha F9.9 kicker
Purchased the boat in 2014 and immediately performed refitstripping boat down and installing all new components.
Work included:
• 2014 Yamaha F90 with 330 hours. Equipped with aluminum 4 blade prop.
• 2014 Yamaha F9.9 with electric start and charging system. Mounted on adjustable transom mount.
• Aluminum fuel tank with 2 chambers and 225L/60 galloncapacity. Original to boat but pressure tested, inspected and remounted prior to re-use. New Racor filter system with both motors plumbed in.
• New Seastar Hydraulic steering system and stainless steelsteering wheel with spinner knob.
• New Maxwell anchor Windlass and anchor system. Oversized 22lb Rocna Anchor. Self-launching bow roller and free fall feature on windlass. 40’ of chain and 350’ of anchor rode, matched to windlass. Great for halibut fishing.
• Completely rewired electrical system. New fuse panel and wiring for a total of 3 Interstate AGM batteries. 1 at stern and 2 mounted in V-berth.
• Raymarine chartplotter/depth sounder. Standard Horizon Marine VHF radio with DSC, GPS and overlength fiberglass antenna.
• New bilge pumps (2) installed
• Hull inspected from stem to stern for soft spots and core issues. None found but all hull intrusions over drilled and filled with thickened epoxy. No chance of water ingress to balsa core. Some minor epoxy and fiberglass repairs performed. Interior & cockpit sole coated with non-slip, color matched Interlux products.
• Custom/homemade fiberglass fish box installed in splashwell.
• Interior refit. Starboard side completed with new marine grade laminates. New high performance captain seat installed on “Shockwave” suspension base.
• Equipped with permanent mounted Radiant LPG heater and fresh air intake on cabin roof and CO monitor.
• Manual/hand operated Whale galley water pump with extra large freshwater holding tank
• Scotty downrigger bases mounted on stainless backing plates.
• Aluminum roof rack
• 1994 Ez-load trailer. Single axle model. In rough shape. One size too small for boat. A tandem would be a better fit. Would work for a single trip with care and caution.
• Boat needs a few finishing cosmetic touches but fully usable as-is. Was planning on repainting hull and finishing interior reconfiguration.
This vessel was purchased and refit for the use of my family of 4. We used the boat extensively in the waters off Northern British Columbia. Handles rough water very well with the ability to slow things down and burn less fuel. Economical and easy to operate.
This boat was purchased after spending many hours of research on C-Brats. Boat was refit with the advice and guidance of the amazing C-Brats crew.
Divorce forces sale. Pains me to sell my pride and joy. Planned to use this boat with my 2 boys until the end. My loss, your gain.
Boat is located in Kitimat, North West British Columbia, Canada.
Asking $40,000 CAD for a quick sale.
