1985 22’ C-Dory with 1985 Easy Loader trailer. Located in Idaho.
This is an early classic C-Dory cabin boat with tall top, handrails, auxiliary motor mount, fish finder, downriggers, anchors, and a Johnson 70 hp main outboard.
The motor starts and runs. Before I acquired the boat, it had sat outside in the sun for about 10 years. When I brought it from Arizona to Idaho, I did not expect it to start, but it fired up on the third turn of the key. I ran it on Lake Powell two years ago, and after cleaning it up recently, it fired up again.
Known issues: the gelcoat is faded from sun exposure, the bottom paint has mostly worn off, the main engine leaks oil, and the lower-unit skeg/fin near the prop is broken. The boat still drove straight when last used. I have gasket kits for the gearbox that will go with the boat.
This is not a restored showboat. It is an honest older C-Dory that runs, includes the trailer and fishing gear, and would be a good project/use-and-improve boat for someone who knows these boats.
Here's a video I put together of a few of our trips since I've owned the boat. We named her the USS Minnow. (Click Here)
