Calling all 19 Angler owners that have installed downriggers. I am about the point of install the base plates for my cannon downrigger. I get real nervous about cutting into the side panel and digging out the foam. I want to make sure there are no obstacles. For instance. It looks like the tube that goes from the back to the front that holds the shift cables and other wires may be in the way. Is this a problem? Can you get around the thing to put a backing plate and nuts?
