16 Model Evolution Question

I am wondering if anyone knows the details of the 16 classic evolution to the current 16 angler. How has the model changed since the early 80s design? I can see that the older models did not have a splash well, what are some of the other design changes? Are the sides lower? How about hull shape and performance?

Any information would be appreciated.
