09/28 - 09/30 - Sequim Bay Gathering

Ordinarily we would be signed up but the CBGT happens right in the middle of when we have a house rented in Jackson for 2 weeks. We'll be fly fishing and enjoying the scenery while you guys are playing.

We're in Maple Bay BC tonight, on the way home from a delightful 11 days in Desolation Sound. I notice the same 12 names signed up for the Sequim Bay Get Together. We're hoping more of the Puget Sound Brats can make the short and easy trip to Sequim Bay State Park.

We've reserved the club room at Sequim Bay Yacht Club for our Pot Luck dinner Sat. evening. I'm assuming everyone would rather BYOB rather than have the club bar open. (Wine and mixed drinks $ 3.00). Comments? We can't do both due to WA liquor laws.

I'd like to see us rafted up a few deep for this one!

I can't believe the summer has gone by so quickly. If I remember correctly, I haven't missed the C-Brat Sequim event since I got Two Lucky Fish. So.... we're signing up!

Would it be OK to attend the Sequim gathering if you don't bring your boat?

My wife and I will be in Sequim that weekend and would like to drop in. I'm looking at a house there and just checking out the area. We've been looking to move to Puget Sound since we retired.
 
This will be our second time at the Sequim Bay CBGT, and our first anniversary C-Brat event. Looks like it will also be our second without the boat. (We are saving Dock space for the other 29 boats that haven't signed up yet.) and really, Deena is still crutching about, and it may be a challenge, but we will make it.

Verla and I are also planning to leave the J.C.Lately in the barn and be available to shuttle folks to John Wayne Marina or into town as necessary. This ought to ease the congestion a bit on the shore side at Sequim Bay's float.

it looks like no Sequim Bay gathering for us this year as the tow rig will be in use elsewhere....I wonder how Milehog feels about pulling doubles......on second though, bad idea, I remember what happened on their trip north last year
 
Just a reminder from Sunny Sequim, 8 days left until the Sequim Bay Gathering. If you have not yet signed up, please do so soon. A few events require a pretty accurate body count to come off successfully.

The sewer line project through the park has not yet started. We'll hope they have discovered suspicious artifacts that will keep them guessing a couple more weeks!

It seems the main activities planned revolve around eating! Is that any surprise? Looking forward to seeing you all there.

We thought we were going to be in WY next weekend but we have canceled that trip. So, can we join you guys in Sequim? I got the impression there might be limited moorage.

Absolutely! It will be great to see you both. Moorage won't be a problem. We may have some rafting but we're all family, right? We'll be on the dock to greet you from noon on Friday. Dinner out Friday night, Pot Luck Dinner Sat. eve. and Breakfast out Sunday AM. PM or e-mail me with any questions.

Just a reminder that there will be some low water the weekend of the gathering. On a low water weekend this summer I "sanded" a little paint off the skeg maneuvering while waiting for Sleepy-C to get tied up on the shore side of the float.

Luckily, not as if we planned it, the low tide -1.0 occurs at midnight! Folks arriving from noon on should have no problem.

We'll be monitoring channel 68 on the dock if you want to call ahead of your arrival.
