I won't mention names but there is a Brat out there that has ordered a new 25 and has not told his wife yet. One Brave Brat! Hope she likes boating...

I think if I'd done that, my wife would say something like "I'm really gonna miss him"... :disgust

Charlie, maybe the 25' is a gift to her. A couple of years ago, I purchased a new CRV for my wife's birthday and had the salesman in on the surprise. When we arrived to look at cars, she told the salesman what she was interested in. He said, "we don't have any like that on the lot, however I have one inside that another customer purchased". I then said, "is there any chance she could take a look at that car?". The salesman said, "yes" and led us into a private showroom where the car was parked with balloons hanging off of it. I then said to the salesman, "do you suppose the customer would mind if Carol sat inside it?" The salesman hesitated and then said, "I suppose they wouldn't mind, go ahead but please be careful as we have it all detailed out". After Carol sat in the driver's seat the salesman and I started singing Happy Birthday to her. Needless to say Carol and daughter Jessica who was standing next to me were in total shock.

Hello everyone:

Looks like I will have to cancel out this year, I fell out of my pick-up last week and broke 2 ribs, still in a lot of pain when I move or try to lay down.

Saw a C-Dory being trailered on route 55 between New Bern & Oriental yesterday. Just curious if it was someone heading to the gathering?
 
Not I. Leaving by noon tomorrow from the Northern Neck of VA heading down there. Expect about a 6 hour trip. Will call the cell numbers I have as I get close to get ramp directions/help on launching.
