if you are thinking about coming and have not signed up. let me know. I have asked the harbor if I should increase our reservation space. I will get an answer soon. but it would be good to know if more are thinking they can make it to the event

thanks

Hi Susan,

We are planning on attending but arriving by car. That is why we have not signed up on the gathering site. I won a $700 hotel gift certificate that has to be used before the end of the year and this seems like a good opportunity to use it and visit the Brats and dinners at the same time.

Martin.

Susan, assuming I buy a C Dory this next week I will also attend. I will not call and reserve yet. But you can tentatively add one more boat to the group.

Have been trying to reach Thora on ext 243 with no success. Today, I tried the extension (250.383.8326 ex 265) in her signature and got her voice message. She is out of the office until tomorrow...

Will try her again tomorrow. :?

I have booked for the Sat night part of the gathering. I will come down early on the Fri night on my bike but the Seahawks play that night so I will be staying home for the game,

However I am launching my boat on the Sat and staying on board at the docks Sat night looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can.

We are booked in for the Friday and Saturday night at the Grand Pacific hotel. Got a nice suite overlooking the marina. So you guys behave down there, I'll be watching
Any thoughts yet Susan where the Friday night supper will be, and the Saturday pot luck?

For those of you who are thinking, why are they staying in a hotel and not bringing their boat? I won a $700 gift certificate to the Grand Pacific and it expires 1st November.

Martin & Andrea.

Anybody heading over from Anacortes area on Friday? We're heading up from Portland on Thursday and will probably spend the night at Cap Sante.

Martin:

I am not sure where the Friday dinner or potluck are going to be, but I have a pretty good idea where the party is going to be... :D

Hi, talked to Susan and the pot luck will be on the dock at our boats. Only place really. We are still looking for a place for the friday night dinner.

Sorry for the lack of updates, We are going thru some family issues with Susan's parents. Nothing for certain yet but not good. We will up date after our trip to Sac. this weekend.

Well my our trip to sac is off and Susan is off to Boise for her fathers surgery. We were awaiting test to see if they could operate or not and they can. Lung cancer, so part of one lung is coming out along with some lymph nodes. Non small cell type. Lets hope for the best and I will be posting the updates from here on. ( lord helps us)

Sad news, indeed. You and Susan will be in our thoughts, hoping for good outcomes.

There is an exhibition at the Royal BC Museum called "Vikings: Lives Beyond the Legends". I've heard it is exceptional. Very close to the marina.

That is great to hear. We really like visiting that museum for its natural history exhibit. It is only a short 5 to 10 minute walk from the docks. Every thing is very close in down town.

There are also I max theater in the museum.
