08/21 - 08/23 - Bellingham, WA

Would love to get a tour of the factory, saturday would be great, what time?
My daughters and I peeked our heads through an open door one day while on a bike ride and they even thought it was cool seeing boots being worked on.

I am not sure what time for the factory tour, Mark Wright will have to tell us. The big question is how people will get from Squalicum Harbor to Fairhaven. We could do some shuttling in our car, and I think Mark is also thinking about transportation.

Hi Pat/All....I'll have my truck there and can haul 5 adults comfortably and 6 if I squeeze someone in the middle front on the bench.

John

Thanks, John and Greg! That will be a big help! The factory tour should be great, we have not been able to do that for a long time!

The C-Dory factory tour plus the LFS discount should make this a great CBGT!

Jan is sending four 2015 Waggoners donated by Sam, and we are definitely looking for other C-Dory stuff for prizes for the give-away part of the evening! We still need to come up with some great trivia questions! Please PM me if you have any C-Dory related (or otherwise!) potential prizes! We will be kicking in a treasured C-Brat bottle opener, and maybe some other stuff!

Attendance is still looking a little skinny and if we are going to revive the B'ham CBGT and restore it to its former glory, we need you to sign up! For our Canadian friends, you know how close we are compared to the other U.S. CBGTs! For our PNW Brats, this is a tradition we need to keep alive, especially since it is where our boats are now built!

Looking forward to seeing you all in B'ham!

I have the keys to the Squalicum Yacht Clubhouse, I however maybe somewhat lost and confused this weekend as we have a pending offer on our house and I might be (hopefully) packing. I can arrange to have the clubhouse open for a social gathering Friday or Saturday. We also have a BBQ on the deck, stove, tables, chairs - we just need to clean up after the party.

Thanks, Byrick. If we needed the clubhouse, it would be for the potluck on Saturday, August 22nd, in case of rain!

Pat,

I see 15 boats have signed up, which is actually a nice number. We had 16 boats at Poulsbo + 3-4 couples who drove in and it was a nice intimate number. We really got a chance to talk to everyone, unlike FHCBGT which has gotten almost too biG, IMHO.

Don't worry old friend, it's going to be a fun time.

Wow, this one looks good. I am currently headed north on Vancouver Island for a while and have mixed feelings about missing this CBGT and about shortening an exploratory trip. Can's say for sure, but wish this one the best ether way.

Ok guys!! We are excited to have you out!! We have a facility stuffed with items as we continue to transition into our new space!! Please give us some grace!! We will open the shop at 9 Am Saturday morning the 22nd for you guys to come and take a look. I am sorry to say that my daughter has a soccer tournament in Renton that weekend so I will not be here, but our foreman Greg Little and perhaps another owner or two will be here to take you guys through the place!!
Brats are always welcome through the NMI doors!!
Take Care--Mark

Just signed up for the gathering and looking forward to seeing everyone! I'll take a seat for the factory tour John. Thanks in advance!

Don

We are making up new name tags, so if you need a new name tag please PM us the names to put on your name tags, and your boat model, name and color. Thanks!

Jamie, I answered your PM, but you should be good just coming to P Dock and hang with the C-Dory group!

Pat should I call and reserve my own moorage or go with the c-dory group, we will need a longer slip but if we are side tied we are ok?

For prizes for the potluck giveaway, so far we have some 2015 Waggoner Cruising Guides from Sam, and five - count 'em FIVE - brand new C-Dory hats that we collected over the years and simply put away. There will also be a C-Dory bottle opener that you attach under your galley counter if I can find it!

We are soliciting donations of other prizes from C-Brats, please PM us if you can donate something as a prize!

Hello C-Brats, I too am new to the C-Dory forum. This is my first post.
I don't have a boat yet but have been doing research reading the forum and have visited the factory in Bellingham. I plan to buy either a new or used C22 cruiser by the end of the year.
I would like to stop by and visit the group in Bellingham on Saturday 23rd and tag along on the factory tour.
It's been great reading and learning from the forum's postings.
Thank you, Bob

Coincidentally, we'll be out cruising the San Juans during the week and possibly through the weekend, but if we're back in time (home base is Bellingham), we'll be there for part of it. It was a c-brat gathering in Bellingham a few years ago that first got me interested in the C-Dory.
