So looking forward to this Blake. Still wrestling with if I am going to motor up or bring up the boat on the trailer. But I hope to be there regardless. Musty make it I own you a couple beers.
Really want to do this one now. (post FH and a trip to Chamainus to whet the apppitite.) This trip would include a stop at Conover Cove for sure, and a check in at Sidney for Fish on Fifth. If I'm not trailering up-island, this might be a nice place to meet up with the south island folks and run up together.
That sounds like a plan for us as we have signed up for Ladysmith. As it gets closer we would love to connect and cruise up but some of us still have a bit of a work thing happening. We will be in touch as it gets closer. Retired you say. Dam I,m jealous :cry
Terry
I am not sure if Monica and I will head up on the Friday and cruise around the gulf islands for a few days after or the other way around. I have a dentist appointment booked for Friday morning, but may try to change it...
I had been looking at a plan for trailering up onto the island, and spending some time on both sidesand both ends. It included some cooperation from the BC Ferry system and I have not heard if they are throwing in yet, or not.
If I'm not already on the island, I would sure be up for another crack at Fish on Fifth and maybe that bakery in Chemainus too.
I'd probably try to be into Sidney in time to leave there Thursday:?
Hi All
We are Nick & Vicky & we live on Salt Spring Island. We have recently bought a Tomcat 255. We have named her Sea Rose We have made our reservation at the marina & look forward to meeting everyone.
Anytime Baby, C-Fury, and Nomad, will be at the Ladysmith gathering. After the get-together, us three boats are heading to Desolation for a few days followed by a weekend in Comox for the "Nautical Days" weekend party, first weekend in August. Any other boats would be most welcome to join us.
After piloting through the area, reading new articles it's on the top of the list of places I'd like to explore. We are scheduled to deliver the Willard June 12th to the new owners and I am on the look out for the next C-Dory. If we aren't boatless we'll be there. I've got my eye on several that are on the market, we'll have to see if anything pans out. I'll keep everyone informed - cheers!
Martin, we would love to do the post-Ladysmith cruise, but alas, it is not to be this year! We need to get our passports mailed to our China cruise foks right after Ladysmith in order to meet their time requirements. Have a great time!
Your cruise plan sounds inviting. I'd love to join if my schedule works out. I'm pretty sure of Ladysmith though have not made a reservation there. I'll be watching this and keep in touch.
I really need to be getting in on some on these group cruises. Might have some other company too.
