Hey Gang! Sorry...will not be able to make it there this year for this event. Would love to once again be dock side with yall. It is always a pleasure and many, many laughs.

Pat.. I get it now.... You are towing the VW as to use for a cooler for the keg.. Just open the sun roof and add keg & ice. CO2 in the trunk, and drive it around dock side. Suddenly, I understand why you did not like the roll back idea. What was I thinking. Much better idea than having to carry it.

Roger: Go forth and represent us well... and enjoy the crab...

Look forward to pics...

You all are making me jealous...sitting at the house with the boat hooked up at 3:30 pm in Tigard. Waiting for Amy to arrive then we drive up.

Hope to be on the road by about 4:30 at the latest then we have to deal with Portland traffic and I hope Seattle is quiet when we roll through.

Should be there barring any problems. Hope everyone enjoys a wonderful Friday night!

John :smiled

OK... yall wake up over there..... It is 944 am Central time down here in the SE... and thought for sure we'd have some Friday night dock party stuff by now...?

Sure wish I was there.

Patience Bro Patrick,

There are a few selected views of the very civilised and sober attendees at last night's dinner event now posted for your visual perusal.

Was good meeting everyone again. C-Brats Rock.
Sorry we couldn't stay to drink Patrick's share..... (As if we could :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer )

Ruthie and Joe,

I don't think you missed any one or any detail this weekend. This is always the most organized and fun event of our boating year. This was our 6th CBGT this year and 2 more to go!

Our return trip from Bellingham was a little longer due to 100' vis at Guemas Channel (2 hrs 20 min.)

Thanks, Ruth and Joe, we all owe you big time! :thup :thup See you all in Nanaimo.

OK, Ruthie (and Joe, but we all know Ruthie does the heavy lifting!), you can now now go into decompression mode! You guys are the best!

A very special thanks to the Lindhout family and Scott for attending and letting us all bend their ears! And the cheese and fruit platter and the prawns - awesome! Trust me here folks, we can all feel good about proselytizing for C-Dory once again!

Terry and Ann, thanks for breakfast Sunday at the Old Town Cafe - that place is a jewel, and thanks to Brock for just being Brock, and joining us!

Just another fabulous CBGT in the books!

We are hanging for a few days at the Crab Palace at Birch Bay and then on to Nanaimo on Wednesday or Thursday!

Is there a photo album somewhere that I am missing.... or is this going to be a what happened in Bellingham.....stays in Bellingham?

Ruth and Joe....Thanks for your help in this gig. I know I was not there physically, but, rest assured, I was sure wishing I was.

For the folks unable to attend, what is the good word on C-dory boats? Are their any being built now and if so when is the first delivery? Which models are they producing first? Thanks for any info, Big Mac.

Jeff Lindhout told me that Sea Sport has indeed started to build C-Dorys. I think he said they were 16s.

I came away from my conversation with him very impressed with his sincerity and lack of pretense, and I think that he came away equally impressed with our great group. I have no doubt that he will do whatever he can to resolve problems we may have, and I think he and his family will be a good fit with the Brats.

I managed to drive the car up on Friday afternoon, for a quick "reunion" with our C-Brat buddies and had a delightful time getting re-acquainted and meeting a few new C-Brats. Then I was able to join in for dinner at the Bayside.
It was a great visit with you all and a BIG THANK YOU to Ruth and Joe for all they did for the gathering. :thup

(Saturday, was spent on our Fire/Rescue Boat on Lake Stevens for the water ski, wakeboard competition and night time fireworks. A busy, but fine day!)

Thanks for everything Joe and Ruth.... especially running everybody around from place to place (Ruth's Taxi/Shuttle Service). You guys are great and far and away the main reason things went so smoothly at Bellingham.

Also thanks to Jeremiah for also providing shuttle services to help try to keep many folks dry on the way to and from the Potluck.

It was a very welcome opportunity to meet the folks from Sea Sport. Their presence and comments made me comfortable as to the future of the boats we all enjoy. They also all fit in very well and seemed extremely comfortable at the potluck.

Take care,
Dan & Tanya

It was great to see old friends and meet new ones. Especially nice to meet Brats face to face that I had known from the site. I have to admit it was discouraging to learn that Ruth and Joe, like Dot and I, were also married in 1961 and Joe still does 30 sit-up and 30 pushups (military style) each day! I better start working on number 11! Thanks Ruth and Joe for all your hard work, and for the encouragement.

Thank you all for welcoming Scott and the Lindhouts to the Bellingham event. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to meet and chat with all of you. I can see why this group has become so large and stayed intact for so long. The C-Brats truly are a family that have created something special. I hope that Scott and all the Lindhouts behaved with good manners, so that we can be invited back sometime. Thanks especially to Joe and Ruth for organizing the event and for taking the time to come out to our factory and offer us a personal invitation.

Jeff Lindhout
