07/16 - 07/18 - Blakely Island

With Sea3po and NancyH on injured reserve, we'll need to alter the rotation slightly. We'll make C-Lou Jon our number 1 starter and Fred will slide over to third base. And Bambina will occupy C-10.

Get better soon, guys. Tyboo Mike, I look forward to meeting the whole bunch of you. Any of 'em like to toss a frisbee?

Fred asked about the c-pontanious Gulf Island cruise, scheduled June 25-27 for worker bees, approx. June 21-30 for slackers and retireds. This is an opportunity to cruise with vagabonds Bill and El, and to poke around in a foreign country. We don't have an official sign up sheet because our splinter group is rather unofficial, and our Head Nerd can't attend.
Still, feel free to hop aboard.

Alrighty then! You have the idea!

Indeed - not an "official" event but all comers welcome, for sure!

Could somebody pick me up a couple of tan/brown C-Dory hats??? All we gots around here is black. I'll square up with ya at Breakme Island....please, couldya huh huh

Stopped into Blakely Saturday for fuel. Norma has had to make changes to the slip assignments, I guess to many boats in C10. You may want to call and verify your slip number, ours has changed to C13, not a good sign.

Fathers day 2004!

Took the Lynn Marie, named after daughter Lynn, and went sturgeon fishing. Got caught anchored up between the TyBoo and Blue~C and SHOULD have gotten nary a bite. Instead we got a 51" that weighed 23#. Yesterday we had a 54" that weighed in at 30#. It's been a great week-end of sturgeon and we got to say howdy to some C-Brat friends.

I have the patterns for the vee-berth carpet project from B~C Ken so if anyone would like them let me know. If not I will most likely haul them to Blakely and trade them off to the highest beerder, I mean bidder.

It was a great fathers day for me and wish the same for all. Special thoughts and prayers go out too.

Tim

Hi! I just checked in with the marina, and they still have us in slip C-10 :P Oscar :dog and I will be lappin' up the :beer :beer together :wink Jeff and I had a great weekend crabbin' in the sound :!: Our first experience with the wind and a big crowd of boats. Still lots of stress involved with the whole docking stuff, but we did see a C-Dory that was out for a test run. We chatted with them. It is a 1989 22' in excellent condition. Gave them the web site and told them to check us out. They are going to try to attend some of the gatherings. That was fun to be able to pull up along side another and say "Hey :!: Awesome Boat You Have There :D " See you soon.

:lips Sugar Lips :lips

In case you hadn't found it, here's the link to Blakely Island Marina site. http://www.rockisland.com/~blakely/

Thanks, Mike, that's informative. I'm in C-6, and I just want to tell my neighbors that I don't snore. But I do eat a whole bunch of garlic.

OK, Looks like we will be over Saturday morning. Will be there for Saturday and Sunday night. We originally were coming Friday night(who knows we might still make it). Laurie got her day off changed to Monday instead of Friday. So anyway I called Norma at Blakely, now instead of C-5 we are in A-10. But aren't you in there Tyboo? She did say we would have to share with a 25. We couldn't be in finer company!! :hug

Hi Folks

I look forward to joining you. I am coming from New Hampshire, in case there is an award for traveling the furthest, and I am buying a boat from Les just so I can be there. Norma put me on A-12. No name for boat yet.

I'll be there just Friday night.

Dave

Jim, if you are referring to me in the above reference, I'm sorry to say that we will not be able to join in at Blakely due to previous plans made last November :sad .............so any "Christenings" will be up to you "Rev. Brother Jim".
