Holy cow, folks. No one in this situation is going to ask for SS#. No more jokes.

Catman, all these years that I've known you, you've never displayed the propensity to be a fisherman, but alas you certainly snagged those three anglers "hook, line and sinker". ... However, I'm thinking that you should carefully watch your back while you are in Langley as those three hombres are liable to get even with you....

who me    just for the record I have never been the type to engage in reprisals. On another note I have a bridge for sale

And Tom, you have a boat for sale as well. My guess is it will find a new owner faster than the bridge. Congratulations on your new purchase. I've always liked that 27 footer, and with the Honda 225 I bet it scoots!

Langleyites, I count nine or ten participants, I'm not quite sure. Pat and Patty unfortunately aren't able to make it, so here's a list:
22' C-Dawg
25' Anita Marie
22' C-Daisy
22' C-Cakes
27' Susan E
22' Mamalena
23' C-Renity
16' New Angler
16' Bambina

Question: Who have I missed? Mark on Au-Kai, are you able to make it?

Undecided...well, actually, it's M's work schedule that will ultimately decide for us. :| She's waiting to see what, if anything, she has off.

OK, thanks for the information and I'll pass that along to Rick today.
Hopefully the weather will show more deference to us than it plans for its Memorial Day celebrants. Let's all cross our fingers and hold our breath.
:hot

P.S. Anyone who might have a card table or similar, is welcome to bring it for the potluck. I'll ask the harbormaster as well.

Mark this brings up a great point about boats. If you stay out with out permission at say a bar or a football game, then you will be in the dog house. On the other hand if you stay out or even go out in the boat with momma then you don't have to worry about where to sleep because you all ready have a bed  and its just a few more days boating and how doesn't want that :smiled

We are asking for a big favor to come over for Saturday gatherinig in Langley.

Kim and I are bringing over friends for the day from Everett and don't want to take up dock space and 2 hour visiting moorage isn't a real possiblity what with lots of boats visiting on a Saturday in June.

Wondering if anyone would let me use their dinghy.

My plan is drop off our crew of 3 at the dock, tow dinghy with me out to anchoring spot in bay and row back in to secure dinghy on your boat. When we leave, vicey-versa.

I will pay with "seafood!"

Thanks,

Patrick

Harbormaster Rick has us in the "B Docks". That's the middle of the marina, just south of last year's site, and better protected.

We're slated for B-2 through B-12. Here are our lane assignments: At 27', Susan-E has B-11; C-Dawg, B-2; Anita Marie, B-3; C-Daisy B-4; C-Cakes, B-5; Mamalena, B-6; C-Renity, B-7 and the two little fellers, 16 footers New Angler and Bambina are on B-12.

We'll all find our slips and the earth will continue to spin, the sun still burn if, say, Cakes and Daisy trade places. Most of you are about the same size, so B-2-4-5 and 6 make little difference in my opinion. Still, let's try to follow the above, and Tom, he'd like you in B-11.

It's probably a good thing that we didn't sign up the Lori Ann for the above, because it's not looking good for us to be there -- I probably will not be off the antibiotics in time.

Kim and I will be over for the day with a couple of friends. We don't need help with a dinghy, Rick is putting us in the marina for the day. Nice of him to do that. It will be great to see everyone and look at the new Susan E, too!

Looks like we're down to seven or eight boats. I hope it's not my garlic that's keeping folks away!

C-Dawg and Fred, we'll miss you but I understand how stuff comes up and changes our plans. Salmon Fisher, I meant to tell you to join us even for the day, because we'll find a place for you. I'm glad you spoke with Rick. It'll be nice to see you, and everyone this weekend. Looks like the sun will join us, too.

Warren, I thought I'd make Friday reservations at the restaurant above the marina. Saturday we can potluck on the dock. Brats, would you like to go to dinner as a group late Friday afternoon?

We have decided to make a weekend on the boat. Our plan is to launch Saturday and stay out overnight somewhere; not sure just where yet. M is finally over w/ school for this semester and we have not had time together since FH. So we may swing over to say ALOHA!

I probably be having surgery at 4 on Friday, so have a beer for me! Hope to make it next year.
