Count the Hunky Dory in. It does sound like a fun trip. We would like to make hotel reservations for the two nights. :) We also need to make reservations for the slip rental.

He left the island this morning on the first ferry, off to a boat show, but he will be sending me some literature.
I will scan and post later.

I am off to Park City for a little ski trip.

Neil, it is great that you and Shawn will be joining us on this trip.
Looking forward to seeing Honkey Dory.

Bill Gilbert from the AI&M, Ocracoke Island, NC,
sent a letter with info on Room and Marina rates for the
"O2O" weekend of June 8, 2012.

I can send this letter and brochures as e-mail attachments,
to anyone that wants a copy for reference purposes,
or I can send the different brochures via snail mail,
as Bill sent me 6+ copies of each brochure.

I am so looking forward to summer and this cruise that I called today and reserved a slip at the Anchorage Inn and Marina. He said that he had set aside some slips for us but I went ahead and locked one in.

Morning from the cockpit of Lady KC.

What a great morning to be on the water here in NC

Last night's rain washed the pollen away
and the dogwoods are ready to bloom.

We are looking forward to the June run to Ocracoke and back.

Karan and I plan to take the ferry over one day next month to
check out all the facilities and get the updated status
first hand
especially after Hurricane Irene.

>>>Remember to use the C-Brats ""Event Signups""<<<

We will keep you all updated.

I just printed off the following PDF chart--

NOAA BookletChart (Home Edition)
Pamlico Sound - Western Part

NOAA Chart - 11548

The web site is as follows-------

I have also calculated several "approximate" trip way points,
should anyone be interested in obtaining a copy.

Kathryn (with Bob & Jackie & Chessy) hope to make the O-O-O trip in June. Thanks for suggesting it! We have talked about giving it a try, but have never been so far from land. Our cruises have been up rivers or canals or the ICW. It will be great to have wisdom and support to head out!

Are people planning to stay at the Anchor Inn Marina (with showers, pool and twice the cost) or take chances with the National Park docks?
