tracy and larry,

you will be very welcome to attend the gathering. It will give you a chance to experience C Dory companionship and fun, and learn a lot about your new boat. Be sure to sign up for a slip, and get on the list for tee shirts if you want them.

Look forward to meeting you.

Judie and I plan to be there in "Passages". Have marina reservations for Fri and Sat nights. Only hitch is our "ship" still is in the shop. Went in in late march for 200 hr svc; was supposed to be out mid April just when the Honda engine recall hit. Hope we see ya'll.

I note several folks here that say they are coming but yet have not signed up on the list. Go to the "events" listing at the top of the page and please sign up. I am beginning to collect info for the attendance sheet as I have done for the first two years and I will be making nametags from that. I have info from previous attendees and will use that as much as I can. I'll ask those for info I don't have.

Not too many weeks left til our "3rd Annual C-Dory Gathering on Lankford Bay".
We have many things planned and you don't want to miss out on this popular gathering on the "East Coast". Just visiting other boats and joining a parade cruise of C-Dorys will be a lasting memory and lots of fun! Crabs and plenty of food and drink just add to the festivities.
There are many more of you out there than the first gathering we put together in 2005. Don't wait til the last minute, put in your reservation to the marina soon, space is limited.

Don't forget to sign up on the Event Signups page. Charlie will add you to the list and put in your order for T-Shirts.

Thanks.

I got the name tag labels this week and am starting to compile the info I need. I have info from previous attendees but if all those that are coming would send me the following info, either by PM or e-mail, it will save me asking for it.

I need to know how many people/kids/pets are coming.
I need to know the day you are arriving (Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun)
I need to know the day you intend to depart (Sat/Sun/stay to cruise)
I need to know if you have marina reservations already.
I need to know if you intend to launch there and need the ramp.
I need to know if you need to leave your vehicle/tow vehicle in Terraplane Tom's field (lots of room).l
I need to know how many T-shirts you need (S/M/L/XL/XXL)

If you have not previously attended, I need more stuff too but will ask those folks individually by PM or e-mail.

Thanks!

Charlie

OK folks, we've got 23 Brats signed up with 22 Boats (The Fran Sea boat will not be there but Roger and Fran will).

I still need info from the following boats

Wanderer
C's the Day
Anne B
Lizzie Ann
Minnow
Valkyrie
Orca
Odd-a-C
Dragonfly
<grin>

From those folks, I need: (sorry if I missed a PM or e-mail but I'm getting old and senile!)

how many people/kids/pets are coming.
day you are arriving (Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun)
day you intend to depart (Sat/Sun/stay to cruise)
if you have marina reservations already.
if you intend to launch there and need the ramp.
if you need to leave your vehicle/tow vehicle in Terraplane Tom's field (lots of room).l
how many T-shirts you need (S/M/L/XL/XXL)

From Dragonfly, I also need to know the first names you want on your name tags!

If I don't hear by mid week, I'll send PMs and/or e-mails to those I haven't heard from. Don't make me come after you!

The winner of the "traveled farthest award" will probably be AKjack from Fairbanks!

Also meant to mention that two USCGAux members (Gary and Wayne from PASSAGES and CREEKSIDE) will be holding free USCG Vessel Safety Inspections for those that want them. If you need the requirements, mail or PM me and I'll send them along.

Charlie

We've only got 21 T-shirts ordered so far. For whomever is going to order them, time must be getting short. What we have so far is:

XL 5
L 9
M 4
S 3

Total 21

Those I haven't heard from are a couple of posts ahead of this one. Terry on "Last Dance" has just signed up too and I decided I've got to be there but it's too hard to bring the boat but Sally and I will come anyway. Terry, do you want any shirts?

Please let me know the info I need for the list, I'm going to post what I have so far in the "documents section". It's an excel spread sheet so you will need excel to open it up. I will have hard copies at the gathering as usual, along with the name tags.

Charlie

OK, here's a LINK to the Attendance list as it currently stands and to the Directions by road to the Ramp, to Toy's Outdoor Store where you need to pay for the launch permit, to the Marina and to Terraplane Tom's house.

E-mail or PM me with any questions. I still need to fill in the blanks for those that haven't sent info.

Charlie

I will be arriving with my wife, Colleen. We will arrive on Friday and depart early Sunday. I won't need launching or trailer storage. I have already made reservations with the marina.

I would like to get 2 XL t-shirts.

Thanks. See you then.

Steve

We are only a month away from the gathering at Lankford Bay Marina and looks like people are signing up. If you haven't called to make reservations, call the marina soon. Make sure you let Charlie know about the number coming and how many T-Shirts. Name tags will be given out again and we will have an agenda prepared. (We get more organized every year)
Remember, Friday night is pot luck and Saturday night is crabs, hot dogs, music and lots of fun!

It will be great to see everyone again and meet new friends!

Sharon and I are planning on arriving on Friday - heading out on Sunday. I've made a reservation for a slip, no need for ramp directions or parking. We would like to order one large T shirt. Thanks, see you then.

We are feeling the momentum growing, and the list is growing too...predicitions for crabs are good and the Red Hots are already being readied for the trip i understand.

Since no one replied to my idea of having some mini seminars, i'll just say that i'd really like someone to give me a rundown on my electrical panel, and more knowledge about my Garmin GPs and things i can do with it..I am decidedly not good with manuals.

See you all very soon.

Charlie I sent a answer to your updated list items . Just wanted to know if you got it or not. Ir shows up with your List and directions post.
Syd

OK, just posted the latest list. Don't know yet who is ordering T-Shirts, but whomever it is, the list as of now is:

Tshirt Total
XXL 2
XL 9 incl one for Valkyre
L 16
M 8 incl one for Valkyre
S 4

Total 39

If you look at the list in the documents section, you'll see that we have 26 signed up with 5 of those not able to bring boats for one reason or another.

There is a total of 55 adults, 2 kids, 7 dogs and 2 cats. Other details at the bottom of the spreadsheet.

I still need to hear from

C's the Day (TJ & Jen)
Lizzie Ann (John and Liz)
and
Minnow (Brady and Nanci)

Syd and Fred, got your info, didn't check the documents section, was looking for a PM or an e-mail but I have it now.

This is probably about the last call for T-Shirts, get your orders in to me somehow!

Charlie

Glad to see everyone is signing up and notice we have a lot of new faces.
Just to let you know, (guys let your wife know) we have a pot-luck supper on Friday night. We have had great success with this in the past. Everything from pizza, cold cuts & rolls, bucket of chicken, cheese & crackers, you name it. I know it is hard if you are traveling by boat, remember Rock Hall and grocery store is only about a 10 minute drive from the marina. There will be several people there with cars including ourselves. Also BYOB. (soda, wine, beer) We will provide the paper plates and cups.
Saturday night we provide all the food and add leftovers from night before. We always have plenty of food.
When you arrive and check in at the marina, you will receive name tags and an agenda of what's happening.
Any questions?
