Yes, of course any Ranger Tug is invited. Last year we had several attend. We even have them included on our T-Shirts.

I had Tom McHugh put out a notice on the TugNuts site about the Gathering at Lankford Bay Marina. Don't know if he has done it yet. That was only way I knew to get the word out to Tug owners.

Glad to see Ranger Tug dealer as close as Annapolis.

We had the local dealer in Rock Hall attend a few years ago with the newest Ranger Tug for people to go on. Sold one there too.

I send an e-mail to Mariner Magazine and Noreaster and that usually brings people in to look at C-Dorys and Ranger Tugs. We always have wannabees show up.

I have completed the new spreadsheet for 2010 at Langford Bay. It contains the names and info on all the boats/owners who have been there for any/all years 2005-2009. The spreadsheet will be in the Documents section shortly. The names highlighted in Yellow are the ones who have already signed up in the Events section above. I will update the sheet as new boats/owners sign up and put information in there.

I already have much of the info on your boat if you have been there in the past but would like you to verify what is there (hopefully, you have bought a new boat!).

I also need the information on arrival, T-Shirts, Parking, Number attending, etc. The list of what I need is as follows:

• Boat Name
• Boat Type, length and year
• Power? Make of engine(s) and HP
• Color (trim) of boat
• Homeport (City/State)
• User Name if on C-Brat Site
• Number of people going to attend (Adults/kids/dogs/cats)
• Attendees First Names (for Name Tags)
• T-Shirts? S, M, L, XL, XXL (probably around $15,
You can change your mind up until about a week ahead of time
• Do you need to use the ramp to launch?
• Do you need a place to park your rig? Not sure if Tom will allow us to park in his field this year, so this may be a problem.
• What day will you arrive?
• What day will you depart
• Are you interested in a cruise (even part of it) down the Bay
After or before the gathering? Have not set one up yet, just looking for expressions of interst at this point
• Do you have Marina Reservations yet?
• Any notes/comments you want by your line of info?

I know that’s a lot of info but I have most of it for those that have attended in the past except for current info for this year. Some of it I can get from your profile if it's entered there. Please PM or E-mail me the answers so we don’t take up too much space on the site!

Just made my slip reservations. I was told two things that might be of interest:
There is a place to park the truck
There now have a shuttle bus that goes into Rock Hall

So looking forward to this!

Good to know about parking, have not heard from Tom Terraplane and if his field is open this year. He hay have sold his last boat, I sure hope he will come and serenade us again!

Working on the attendance list, still waiting on some to respond.

Thought i put this up before..

I will be in Virginia, attending my daughter's graduation.
The field will be available...unless there is a prior period of heavy rain, and then the field is a mud trap...stay off.
I will mark off the areas for parking ahead of time.
I believe i can accommodate about five rigs on the field without any crowding.

Tom, you probably did, my apologies. Yes, I will monitor the parking in your field and make sure if it's wet, doesn't have some rigs parked there for a week or two... :shock: Aparently Langford has told some folks that they can park there, that should ease the situation.

Trying to find out when my Granddaughters HS graduation is, that could also put a kibosh on our attendance... :(

I sent e-mail (and one PM for one without e-mail listed) requesting the info I need to those that have not yet given it to me. You can just respond to the e-mail (or the PM) with the info.

That's right Charlie, only 6 weeks. Looks like a small intimate group this year.

If you haven't signed up yet, please do soon and call the marina to make reservations. This is a beautiful marina and
very peaceful. Close enough to town by trolley for shopping and plenty of places to cruise along the Chester River.

We sure would like to see more folks. Think about it and make that decision to join us in June.

We move recently to Olympia, Wa.

We are considering a 22' cruiser. Kind of expensive though!

Yet if it would work well for us (cruising, hauling around grandkids, enjoying puget sound, etc.), we'd be willing to put out some bucks.

If anyone wants to call me with comments or advice I would appreciate it. I'll be up until 1100 PM or so tonight and then I'm golfing tomorrow until about 1 PM.

My wife says, get a boat.

You need to post your note down under "C-Dory Boats Wanted", it will get special attention there, and not be lost under the "Gatherings" heading. The C-Dory is a great "tourist" boat, dry and comfortable. Good luck in your search.

Unfortunately, my granddaughters graduation has loomed large and I will have to excuse myself. Will still do the nametags however as I have done in the past and complete the attendance list and details. We need t-shirt orders from those mentioned above as well as the additional info I've requested. T-Shirt orders will cut off about two weeks ahead of time!

I may be in Bahrain that weekend, I am waiting to find out but would rather be at the gathering, but that doesn't seem to hold much weight with the boss. Will let you know.
 
Sorry to hear that Tivo. We will keep our fingers crossed that it isn't our CBGT weekend.

Not too much time left. Hope everyone is getting their boats ready for the trip to Rock Hall.

Please contact Charlie from Captain's CAT to let him know about when you will be arriving and your T-shirt order and also how many will be attending for name tags.

For those who have not been to our Gathering before, we will have a pot luck supper on Friday night, you can bring whatever you like to share with everyone. We will provide plates, cups, silverware and soda/water. A good time to meet everyone and talk about our C-Dorys and Ranger Tugs.

Saturday is usually a day to go around and look at boats. See what has been done to personalize our boats and get some ideas. A cruise up the Chester River or a trip into Rock Hall by the marina van to shop. Or just relax by the pool or on the hammock up on the bluff overlooking the river.

Saturday night we will have a dinner together and more conversation and then Sunday morning we will have a send off breakfast.

If you have any questions about launching your boat or parking or directions, please let us know by e-mail or pm. We will be glad to help. This will be our 6th year and although it will be a small group of C-Dorys and Ranger Tugs we are going to have a GOOD TIME!

Kathryn is very sorry NOT to attend this year. We have owned Kathryn(22' C-Dory) 1.5 years now and were really looking forward to attending. I kept waiting to RSVP once our plans were settled; however, a meeting came up that keeps us away that weekend. Maybe next summer?!
