06/03 - 06/05 Eastern Shore, Maryland gathering

Well, frankly, I am hoping we can just use our regular grins for this little excursion!

Pat - Patty and Kathy will have much to discuss (commiserate on). I love being out when there's a small craft advisory, and I believe Kathy would describe my grin as maniacal as well!

Tom, we took delivery of our 22' Cruiser in February 'O5, and have not had it in the water yet. Please count us in for the get together for the weekend of June 3-5 on the Chester River. This will be our first C-Dory cruise and I can't wait to see other owners, enjoy seeing what they did with their boats and ask lots of questions.

To Van and Judith, "Blue Echo"

Welcome aboard...more the merrier!

If you plan on having a spot at Lankford Bay Marina, please call John, the manager, during working hours. I know that he is beginning to feel a limitation on space. I don't do that booking, you have to call and reserve with a credit card.

If you are interested in T shirts, let me know here....sizes, etc.

And, please sign up on the c brats site for the gathering..helps me keep a general count.

LOok forward to seeing you on June 3..

OK Tom, this is Terry making it official I will be attending your outing in June. Really looking forward to meeting every one and enjoying your locale. Terry

OK! "The Last Dance" - I like it! You need a photo album. Our place here in Birch Bay (where we stayed in resorts for many years) is "The Last Resort" - but it was recently (sort of) renamed "The Crab Palace"...Look forward to meeting you and everyone else on the Eastern Shore!

Hi Tom,

On the t-shirts...one medium and one small for right now....

Will be glad when this wind stops - gusts of up to 50 mph! With the saturated ground, some trees are starting to come down. Need to move Lizzie Ann out of the woods! Tiem to be in the water now anyway.

Here is an update on our gathering.

We are at about 24 boats...the marina is cool..."we'll find room, tom, don't worry" says my friend John A. But, please reserve a slip asap...you don't want to be left out...but protected anchorages abound here.

T shirt orders are now at 26. I will have to place the order by about April 18 or so ...please let me know if you want a shirt..size, and number of shrits...$15 each.

I'd still like those of you who are trailering and using the launch to send me a reminder of that..especially if you are parking on my field.

Lots of curiousity here in Rock Hall...my town...about this gathering.

Tom, can you post your listing of shirts/ramps/parking with who has reserved them so we can be sure our name is on the list? Not sure of the easiest way to do it, maybe an excel document to the documents page with a link? I think we're all sure of our marina reservations.

Whoa...

My wife, Ann, loved this post....you are talking to a dial phone-pre computer-non microwave-non cell phone- non dvd--dad...who is lucky to be on this thing...Jeeez..did i fool some people. My guitar player likes to see me with anything mechanical..like watcing squirrels with a concrete block...

So.....

I will scour the thread for info.
The shirts are ok
What i need is a reminder of people for launch and on the field..that will do it.

I'm still scrathing my head about Captain's Choice words...have to call in my CIA rep.

But seriously, it will all work out...i'm good at this.

tom /terraplane

Tom, Just in case you did not get my PM, I would like two shirts, sized medium. And by the way, you rock at this computer stuff. At least you had me fooled. Robbi

Roberta,

You were the first T shirt orders..got it.

I really do love advice on this machine...i learn from it. My 12 year old reviewed Captain's Choice, just an hour ago, and said:
"DAd...it is sooo simple..you embarrass me!"
Hey, that's what dads are for, right?

Onward with the Greatest Gathering in Good old Maryland!!

PS..I've been reading too many of Red Fox's postings i think.......

Tom, I'm a heckuva lot older than 12 but I do know where the @ key is. I'll volunteer (hate that word, last time I said it, I spent 32 years in the Navy) to do you a list and post it, checking with you first of course. Hopefully, all the orders for parking/launching/t-shirts came in on this thread and I can see them as well as you can.

If that's OK with you, I'll launch my effort in the morning and keep you advised.

Charlie

Charlie and Sally,

Now don't get me wrong, but i'm sending a kiss and a hug your way...
This site is amazing...if only my doctors were so responsive!!

But thanks, and that would be most appreciated...with over 23 boats and probably over 60 people, we need to have some minds better than mine for recording things.

I think what i need is a comparison of what is on the thread with what i have in my beat up manila folder. Whatever you do will be appreciated.

( I think the 'left coast' gang must be amused by us...all this planning...but when we started i thought..well maybe, ten boats!!)

thanks again

Tom,

Even though I emailed this info to you already, here it is again so that you have it all in one place: one XL shirt and one medium.

Thanks again for all of your efforts!

Tom, I'll start today. If I e-mail you an excel spreadsheet, can you open it and look at it? Do you have excel?

I could always fax a hard copy if you have a fax machine.

I'll pass on the hug and kiss, :smilep

Charlie
