06/02 - 06/04 - Lankford Bay Marina, Eastern Shore

Hey, our reservations are in also. I'm coming in on Monday or Tuesday for some early cruising, so if anyone wants to join me, let me know.

Tom: I'll be glad to help out on Thursday or Friday when you need a hand.

Our committee will be meeting on March 25 (i think) and we will be doing some advance planning then. If you have suggestions for the gathering, send them along here and i will add them to the agenda. So far, we plan on the potluck on Friday (heads up, Terry!) ....some music maybe...Saturday is an open plan..cruising to Chestertown, Rock Hall tours, some talk , touring boats..etc. Saturday night: crabs if available, more music, talk...
Sunday, possible departure for a few days of cruising...

If you have ideas, love to have them. We will again ask for a contribution to the coffers, not sure how much, but we'll let y ou know.

Get your reservations in to lankford bay marina asap. They are casual, but like to have the info. They get many requests for groups and if we get shut out at a certain number, then only moorings will be available.

Look forward to the event..it will be great to see everyone again.

Not exactly "on top", sorta "next to". I'll get the list generated this week using the signup info and the mails in this thread. Have been very busy with kid stuff, getting house ready to sell, etc. Also just bought 12 acres up between Tapahannock and Port Royal just off 17. May not build a big house here on the River, may just use this for weekends....Decisions/decisions!!

When I made my reservations I was told that a group of large boats are coming in Thursday night, but will leave the next day.

My wife Tina & I have made reservations at the marina today and we are looking foward to meeting fellow c-dory folks. We have never been to any C-Dory gatherings and this one appears to be a good one to start with. I am going to pack as if we were going out alone for the weekend, it sounds like by all the posts we gather for a meal of crabs. How do we pay the group for this, when we are there? Thanks
 
hi to all ,made our reservations yesterday(mon).we will be newbies also.
i looked over some of the pictures from last year.. what was all the boats rafted together all about? looked like they were out on end of the dock.
it will be fun to meet some faces to go with names!!!

The raft-up was at a crab house in Rock Hall. Those boats are in very skinny water and there are about seven states represented as seen in some pics of their reg numbers.

Ok Folks the first cut at an attendance list is posted in the documents section. I need info to complete info on the 22 folks who have signed up. If you have MS EXCEL you can open it and look at it. If you're coming and have not signed up in the event signups, please do so asap.

I will be going down the mail in this thread and others and attempt to fill in all the missing info. I need to know when you are arriving (day), leaving (day), whether you need the ramp to launch (not coming on the water), whether you need to park in Tom's spacious field with your tow rig, whether you're coming with a motorhome and need to park there in your motorhome, etc. Check it out. Those that I cannot get info on, I will send an e-mail or a PM to to fill it out. I used info from last year to fill out info on those that attended then. If your info has changed, please let me know.

Tom are you going to order T-Shirts this year? If so, I'll need to know numbers and sizes.

Lots to do but this is a start...

EDIT: Just filled in all I could from the thread about names/reservations/etc. Will be mailing questions out this weekend. We've got 23 Boats signed up so far. I'll send notes to those that came last year that have not signed up yet.

We already are getting some interest from local publications...so bring your best behavior (or worst) ...you mght make the paper!

Is it true that El and Bill will be "no show" for this? I think they have other plans.

The post-gathering cruise will be suggested by the committee...so you can check the charts...

Our committee is meeting on Sat the 25th to talk over details, including the t shirt plan. I'll contact Charlie after that.

Tom, you'd better get shirts! I'm getting lots of orders... If you put Pat's picture on there, the smallest size we'll be able to have is XXL if anyone is going to make out any detail.... :shock: :lol: :lol:

keep taking the orders. the committee reads this tool, and i'm sure we will do a shirt. we have some creative minds on the committee..but pat's face? a challenge, to be sure...
