05/31 - 06/02 - Chesapeake Bay Pocket Yacht Rendezvous

It's almost time for the 2nd Annual Chesapeake Bay Rendezvous! :D

We had so much fun at last year's Rendezvous that we decided to do another one. Unfortunately, we didn't have any C-Dory owners participate, so we want to ensure every C-Dory on C-Brats is invited! :D

Our goal is to have 20 boats at this year's rendezvous. So, all Ranger Tugs, Cutwater, and C-dory owners far and wide are invited to attend the 2013 Chesapeake Bay "Pocket Yacht" Rendezvous May 31-June 2 at Mears Yacht Harbor in Oxford, Maryland. More details coming soon, but mark the days if you think you can join by land or sea. Slips are available, pool, picnic area, seminars, presentations, prizes, and all the camaraderie you can hope for. Additional information will be provided by email.

Thus far, I have the following Ranger Tugs and Cutwater boats and owners who intend on attending, but as you can see, so far there are no C-Dory's:
1. Lone Star Ranger, John & Tracey Garcia
2. Shared Dream, Ken & Sandy Dalgleish
3. Just Limin', Bill & Nancy Eggert
4. Nudge Tug, Fred & Cathy Edwards
5. Therapist II, Rick & Dottie Proffer
6. Quest, Eric Hughes
7. Lady T, Micheal and Donna Klepper
8. Adagio, Sanford Colley & Tundra
9. Bella Fin, Chuck Conway

We are 55% from meeting our 20 boat goal, and we need some C-Dory boats and owners to participate!!!

If you would like to participate, or know another C-Dory owner who would like to particpate, please send me an email at juan.r.garcia.mil@mail.mil. I will add you/them to my email list for additional information.

We're going to try to make this one too. Would the moderators mind putting this one on the events list? I doubt if there will be a Langford gathering this year and this will make an ideal fill in for us on the Right Coast!

Charlie

John, we will try and make the gathering this year with our boat. We did stop by last year for a couple hours and talked to some of the Tug owners. I will send you a PM with our data.

Hey Chesapeake C-Brats!
We just moved to the area and are hoping for a C-Brat get-together!
Will there be a gathering in May 2014? We would love to participate.

Joyce & Wolfgang,

I am a member of the C-Brats and do some boating with the Virginia and North Carolina C-Brats south of the Chesapeake. We have done the Carolina Loop over the last 3 years and plan to do another loop this Spring. If you are interested in doing some Chesapeake Bay cruising I am also a member of the No Name Yacht Club which has been in existence since 1992. We do a trip each month from May through October on the Chesapeake. Most of the members have larger boats (motor yachts), however we have a few smaller boats in the club including my 22 C-Dory. If you are interested in traveling the Chesapeake Bay please send me a PM with your phone number. We are having our annual organizational meeting this week-end and our first trip on the South River May 2 thru 4.
