We have confirmed dates from the port now.

May 19, 20, and 21 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

We added Friday to the reservation because so many boats show up early each year. Similar plans to last year including lots of dock space, Friday restaurant dinner, and Saturday potluck of course. More details to follow as spring approaches.

Can we get a signup list?

Greg, Cindy and Aven,

Thanks for taking this one on again. It is my favorite CBGT of all. it is a great place, super folks and lots of boats. Sure hope everyone can come. You guys do such a great job of getting it all together.

Took the time off. Hopefully, our g-son's birthday will not interfere and I won't have any issues with work, as I'm up for promotion and that will change my schedule big-time.

We attended this one day last year, without a boat. Now we have our C Dory 25, "Kingfisher," formerly "Jean Marie." We are also planning on attending. We are excited to be involved for real now.

We may come and there are up to 6 in our family. We can't all sleep on the 22.

Any motel (with a kitchenette) recommendations from someone in the know?

Joyce and I will be attending (and shrimping Sat and Sunday). I note that Saturday is the date of the annual Friday Harbor Soap Box derby. It's not too far away from the marina and last year Joyce and I walked up and watched it for awhile. It's worth the time and was pretty entertaining. In principal. anyone can enter - you don't need to be a local. So those of those with young people, you might google it up and see what it entails.

Hi Stefan,

We have only stayed a few places but our favorite especially with kids would be the Earthbox. They are kid and pet friendly and have an indoor pool and hot tub. They are located up the main street near the West Marine store.

Don't book anything until April at the earliest and watch for web specials.

We have dinner arranged for Friday night but plan A did not work out.

With Downriggers re-opened, we reached out to our contact there and the good news is they remembered our group and had nothing but good things to say. The bad news was their new group rate and limited menu ran from 55-87$ per seat from a limited menu depending on seating location.

That price was a little steep for the feedback we have received from the group, so we are headed back to Rumor Mill same as last year where we can order from the full menu and enjoy the company.

We are looking forward to it!

Rumor Mill sounds good Greg, food was good last year! Not too surprised about those rates at Downriggers...when they re-opened late last year I walked in to check it out hoping to grab a bite. But it looked a bit too fancy for my taste (without even checking the menu), so instead I went uptown for some fish and chips. I'm sure it is great, just a bit too fancy for what I had in mind that day, my big party-of-one.

Mary and I will finally be able to attend this gathering and we are excited about it. I suspect we will launch the boat in Bellingham since the ramp is good and storage of the vehicle and trailer was so easy last year for the few weeks we were in that area. As for Friday night, we will just be glad to be there and see old and new friends so we gladly defer to those of you with far more area knowledge than we have.

Greg, is there anything we personally need to do in advance with the marina? I've added us to the C-Brats sign up list but that's all at this point.
